If it's an Age of Sigmar build it makes sense. It's still a Sigmarite city, just different culturally from the more Imperial based ones. It would be like wearing your country's flag on an army uniform.
Very impressive kitbash! For an AoS background these would be great for the recent city shown in the Yndraste novel where she aids a mobile city in the Realm of Ghur tundras that moves via a giant sled to escape monsters like the kraken that chases it. Would be good for a Kislev-like force with cavalier & dark riders to keep the Eurasia fast cavalry flavor and Misthavn rules for extra movement speed for both battle and keeping up with the moving ice city.
While not gonna use The Old World as a reference, I will base them on the city of Edassa, as references in Realmslayer... It's just that, I kinda got a heart for Jordain and they really sounded really cool, especially the Lion-themed stuff they have. I already did some work on some Sisters of Silence to represent them as the Lioness Guard (basically Freeguild Greatswords), so I REALLY want to use that desert/lion theme in them.
Your sculpting skills are amazing they compliment your painting skill perfectly. That fur and boots look like they have always been part of the miniature. If you have the time, could you please video going into more detail on how to sculpt fur like this? Thank you for another great video.
gonna use this for my cities of sigmar its either kislev, Assyrian inspired or grand cathay, also Pete would you ever consider doing a Winged lancer made from the new cavaliers from Citites of sigmar? would ve fun to see how you tackle it
Love the video. I have a kit bash idea. It’s a character that’s very close to my heart despite not having tons and tons of lore. But it’s a dark angels character called Balthasar. My uncle got me the dark vengeance kit when I was 11. The reason I got it was because the model of Balthasar just made me instantly love space marines and dark angels. So after seeing his model through a GW store window (at this time id never heard of games workshop or 40K) and the guy at GW told us about 40K and how it all worked etc… and we picked up the box set there and then. We then spent the whole weekend building and painting Balthasar together and still have it to this day. My uncle recently passed away and I have that Balthasar model that I will treasurer forever. However I am trying to figure out how I can make a new primaris scaled version of Balthasar and I was wondering if you could tackle it first so I could get some inspiration
Man these models blownme away every week. I legit wait for your videos. I watch over n over the old ones. My all time favourites are the lobster boat. And the 4 soul grinders. Absolutely fantastic work
This conversion remindes me of a guy i met at some minor tournament i had pleasure watching they were playing 2nd edition and this one guy had a full cities of sigmar army kitbashed 3d modeled and reporpoursed fantasy to be full kislev which was cool but he refused to call units and factions their AoS names and keeping caling everything by fantasy terms "Oh so i fight against vampire counts weird army almost all ghouls"(he was fighthing the flesh eater court) or "i deal 2 wounds with my streltsy"and so on
I loved your Nurgle themed forest spirits army, and when I see this Boyar I can only hope that you'll tacle a heavily converted Warhammer Fantasy army ! Cheers !
I really love your scientific method narration of 3rd person past tense its really easy to follow as well. Glorious work he came out so fantastic. Its great to see the models from Fantasy, through the lens of the game, come back to the paint table.
I like to let the mud for my base textures to touch the boots of my models and potentially hit the cloaks and their legs. Makes it look like it has splashed up onto them while they've been walking around
I’d love to see a Taruox the brass bull kitbash! The only doombull kit is finecast and bringing a character with amazing beast men lore would be amazing
Hoooooly cow Pete! This is so perfect I nearly teared up 😆. I really hope the Kislev make an appearance in the Old World re release. I just need some polar bear cavalry dammit!
Love it. Personally would have also loved to have some snow powder on the kislevite himself, but I don’t know how difficult that would be. Regardless though, freaking awesome work, as always. Keep it up.
This is so good, I was really on the fence / not super enthused about the new dawnbringers minis but seeing this has made me think one could do smth real interesting with them with a little creativity n determination!
Love the conversion and scheme, although I think the tuft messes with the composition too much. Also stands out as not being painted or integrated into into the base.
Hay Pete I got an idea for ya it would be a lil challenging but it would be cool using the new neurotyrant model you could make an enslaved from the law
Hey there, I'm new to your channel and have been loving your content, especially the kill teams you've done. I was hoping you could answer an odd question, Do you do commissions? after watching your kill team kitbashes I had an idea for one but don't have the crafting nor painting talent to make it real. If not then that's alright I just thought I'd ask.
Would any one else like to see a kit bashed blood bowl player or team? I think it would be an interesting theme to see Pete's creative skill tackle(pun intended)
@@ryansandwich1086 OH I know. I own both versions of him. But you have amazing takes on these characters that I'd like to see what your brain can come up with. With Old World coming back I'd love to see a new versus of him.
I'm curious why you didn't modify or replace his cloak clasp? I always remember the Kistlevites having either wolf or bear symbols scattered about them, where as the imperials loved to sport the twin tailed comet.
Lovely neat bit of green stuff work that, really helped differentiate the model and tie in the Kislev theme. Great job as alway- wait... no dead animal bits? 0/10 un subscrib
Not everyone knew that. You took the time to comment on something so miniscule, how about you 'dont worry about it'. I learnt something so what's the harm. Stfu
I think that it would be great to se a conversion of a free guild cavalier into a reiksguard or empire knight (Oldhammer style). I am planning on doing a unit as soon as I receive them.
I have to ask, roughly how long did this take to paint? I've been trying to get more into painting, but find I can only get decent looking results with 8-10 hours or more spent painting each miniature.
The trick is to use a tiny amount of sueprglue, barely enough to make it stick in the first place. With a bit of focused pressure it should snap right off when you need it to.
This I can't understand: - People hate Warhammer Age of Sigmar lore. They don't know, they don't want to know. - People hate Age of Sigmar tablettp game. "Pitiful skkiirmish for stupid fat children." - People hate the new models as "soulless, overdesigned/low-detailed 3D sculptures." - People also want to use Age of Sigmar models in ToW instead of the “good old miniatures” from the 80s. Where is the logic?

Good vid, direct question. What brushes do you use? What brand.
He looks like a Ukrainian Cossack.
Warhammer Fantasy conversions, thats what I wanna see!
I’ve spent probably 400$ on brettonian bits and pieces over the past year in anticipation, waiting on my box now!
Id love to see you do a Cathay kitbash, or how AOS Cathay might look
"without having to kitbash every model" As an Ork player I took this personally.
That's actually the first time in years that I saw a realistic skin tone on a miniature. Really really good work Pete !
Really nice, I’ve loved your kitbashes for a long time. Was a little disappointed the twin-tailed comet wasn’t removed, though.
If it's an Age of Sigmar build it makes sense. It's still a Sigmarite city, just different culturally from the more Imperial based ones. It would be like wearing your country's flag on an army uniform.
I was thinking that too

This made me realise you never see any space marines with blue capes, shame because it looks awesome!
“I deserve a larger retinue.” Excellent work as always! Please make more Kislevite conversion videos!
I think using the red glaze for the flushed cheeks was a great idea- excellent conversion and great paintjob!
Thanks!

Then the Winged Hussars arrived! Coming down the Mountainside! Then the Winged Hussars arrived! Coming down they turned the tide!
@@CaravanCzar they and the whole imperial army that was with them
If you don't mind a 3rd party kit, Warlord Games has some really good Winged Hussar's from their historical range

One of my favourites of yours. In comparison of some of your space marine builds, I think not using spray paint makes it look so much nicer.

So good mate! absolutely awesome 'bash and paint job!
That head swap was so simple, but it looks so good. Definitely using blue glaze for stubble from now on. Awesome work as always.
Sometimes the more simple convertion are the best

Just a thought, that maybe in the future you could do a time traveled space marine "blending" in to a fantasy army
I’d love to see a Taruox the brass bull kitbash! The only doombull kit is finecast and bringing a character with amazing beast men lore would be amazing
another great kitbash and paint job, but was the onscreen "paint being used" missing for this video?
Your voice is so soothing.
It's like listening to an Attenborough documentary 😊
I love that it's from Warhammer fantasy 👏🏻
Fantastic as ever, can't believe you kissed the opportunity to use Kislev flesh though 😅
By the looks of it, you could easily kitbash an inquisitor from these kits
Lovely paint job man. Especially the face.
I love your conversions, but what about resurrecting some vampire counts? 😉
Been waiting to see what you did with this release 😍

well I guess I’m gonna have to start a Kislev themed CoS army now

I really liked this one a lot. The boots are my favorite part, oddly enough.
Brilliant conversion done! Will you be planning to do more kitbashes with the new CoS units? :)
Excellent paint job! Your brushes looks really good quality too
Love the conversion and scheme, although I think the tuft messes with the composition too much. Also stands out as not being painted or integrated into into the base.
I've been thinking about using the very same model as a base for Warrior Priest of Sigmar kitbash.
nice
Babe wake up, new Pete the Daddygamer just dropped
More Pete the Wargamer more often!
Turned out fantastic
Have you thought about doing a Tyberos, The Red Wave build before? That would be really cool
PLEASE DO A TROOPS VERSION omg, this was wonderful!
Wow, that’s great. Love the colours too
YOOO MORE TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER
Wow! Amazing result as ever! This can work even for 40k :)
And this was the final result..... goes to ad: BEHOLD THE JIMMY JOHN'S SPECIAL
Any plans on doing a Cathay kitbash of any kind?
This is awesome. Though for whatever reason my eyes always feel like the cloak is a power sword lol
Nice job on the face, looks awesome.
Day 76 of asking for a true scale tyberos the red wake convertion
very well done but i do think the twin tailed comet should have been removed or replaced
And now for some tyranid kitbashes ❤

I'd love to, but I'm just not sure how to tackle them really. Maybe some Fantasy Fellowship stuff would be fun.

Nice conversion, shame the base model is over detailed, you should've trimmed some off
do primaris size chaos terminators
You probably shouldn’t have kept the Sigmarite details, Kislevites worship Ursun not Sigmar
When you glue a model to base how do you break that bond to take the model to another base
The trick is to use a tiny amount of sueprglue, barely enough to make it stick in the first place. With a bit of focused pressure it should snap right off when you need it to.
This I can't understand:
