    So glad I watched your video here! To help smooth out areas between patches, etc, where volume drops happen, a delay of some kind, for example a ping pong, after the microcosm at least during that time, will often be a perfect solution to prevent abrupt drops. 😁

    • @OoraMusic
      @OoraMusic  Před 3 lety +1

      Someone told me that you can activate tails, so might be already solved!

    • @DetroitMicroSound
      @DetroitMicroSound Před 3 lety

      @@OoraMusic That would be plenty to solve it. If not, it won't much matter to me, because I can work around it, or like I mentioned- it's going to be used in combination with my ZOIA, and several other bits of gear having many audio processing tools onboard.

    Thank you for the demo. This thing is deep. Definitely adds to the mix. Like you mentioned though it sounds unpredictable and seems tough to get the effects in rythm with the track. When it does sync it sounds spectacular. Been on my short list for a long time.

    Handle hot signals - in Global Configuration mode, you can change the line level from the default (instrument level) to line level. Maybe that will solve the 'hot signals' issue? (p42-45 of manual)
    Also, switching the Bypass mode to Trails should help address the dead air between presets issue. (p42-46)

    • @OoraMusic
      @OoraMusic  Před 3 lety +1

      On the first point i tried and is still hard for me to have a clean sound. The trail I completely missed! will check that out thanks a lot!

    This is a sick pedal. Obviously quite expensive but it does what no other pedal does.
    I got mine a week ago and so far I like it far more on synths than on guitar - too artificial and unpredictable.
    While playing guitar I never get the right balance between wet and dry signal, it is not "blending" the signal.
    i´m still learning though.

    • @OoraMusic
      @OoraMusic  Před 2 lety

      Actually never tried on guitars, but i believe is an amazing synth companion

    • @OoraMusic
      @OoraMusic  Před rokem +1

      you are not the first one that tell me that. Start checking if the signal is too hot or too low, then try with single notes or slow sequences. once you understand how the algorithms works you will have fun!

  • @ZenMountain

    I really dislike this pedal, lol. I think I don't know how to use it because all I'm able to produce with it are outrageous noises which are super interesting for like 5 seconds, but totally useless in the end... Kudos to all of you who can enjoy it.
