  • Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease most often described as one of impaired movement called parkinsonism. The symptoms of parkinsonism are discussed in video 37 of LongLiveTheBrains. PD is a major cause of these symptoms but can also cause a host of other symptoms beyond impaired movement. The disease can have a far reaching impacting all the way from your mood to your gut. Watch this video to hear Dr. Tipton discuss the PD non-motor symptoms, which often get overlooked.
