I just want to say thank you very much for sharing your time and experience with all of us! This was an excellent step-by-step tutorial that definitely shows your patience and skill!!
I just ordered my first fat tire bike. I will use this video as a guide for preventative measures Thanks
It’s such a cheap and effective mod! You’ll love it
Great detailed explanation
@@deluxelex9056 glad I could help!
Great instructions!
Thank you! Glad I could help!
Hello from Houston, TX 🙌
Hello from California!
Those rims are sick!
I know…I love mag wheels!
I used flat out and the next day I ran over a 1x2” triangular piece of glass. I pulled the glass out and my tire went completely flat. While I had been riding the flat out, got all up underneath my fender. But it sealed the hole after I took the glass up. The outer tire has a serious good gash in it, but the tube is holding air and has been since it happened.
Wow that is super impressive!
Yiu can literally use gorilla tape to patch it and make it home no problem.
I did. And it worked freaking amazing. Never leaked. But i still changed the tube.
What if i dont have a mailbox close by? I cant do this then. Darn..
😂😂😂
Yeah, first thing I do on my bikes is shoot the tubes with Flat Out. Keep four bags on hand so I don't have to wait for Amzn delivery.
In my town (San Francisco) this stuff is critical because if I lose air on the flatlands it is a loooooooooooong ELEVATED way back, where I will have to scale two hills (Russian and Nob Hills) to get home.
Doesn't help that our tty roads are chocked full of all manner of tire hazards: needles, nails, glass, screws, sharp-edged objects, etc.
Just out of curiosity….has flat out failed you before? One time it didn’t work but the tube looked like it had a cut/slit in it.
@@Raspyrides Never failed. One time I got a flat it was actually a 3" slice on the sidewall, so that doesn't count.
No “HEY RASPY RIDERS”?!?😮
Naww I’m going to focus on getting straight to the point from now on lol.
Slime tubes with stock tires until replacement needed sooner than later, but flat out is easiest for sure
I’ve tried slime before too. I think Flatout is far superior in my opinion. There’s a video on CZcams testing both of them as well and Flatout can repair larger holes.
I'm so sick of flats on my ebike. I bought flatout and TANNUS liner
Quick question….Do you like the ride with the liners in and do you notice any kinda like out of balance, wobble or a rougher ride at the upper speeds? Any difference at all? Any problems or issues with installing them? 4 flats in past 3 mo with new tubes and slime. Thinking about liners but others have said they’ve had issues installing them or just after installation. Thanks!
Instructions on the bag says to put half a bag per bike tire.
On my bag, it shows a quarter bag for dirt bikes and half bag for bigger vehicles. Dirtbike is the closest thing to compare our e-bikes to
@@Raspyrides ahh ok I gotcha... Makes sense too.
