    that pass by Yamamoto was amazing, passed it perfectly on the inside of the player which allowed McDavid to get a huge jump on the D and make this amazing play. Great play!

    Brilliant pass by Yamamoto there to start it all also...tossed it to the only place it would work hoping Mcdavid could react in time. And of course he could. Huge effort by Mcdavid...he had the jam tonight.
    I think that cheap hit lit a fire in him, could see it burning after he went to the bench after the hit.

      McDavid's pass is just a reaction and knowing where teammates are. Yamamoto's pass was counterintuitively cheeky because it used the defender's momentum to place the puck opposite of the flow like a back shoulder throw.

    Really have no clue why people say or ever said McDavid is a no-show in the playoffs. He was easily the deciding factor in this series and you can tell how badly he wants to win by the he plays and celebrates.

      Going into the series he was above a point per game in the playoffs. Issue is that the Oilers depth was hot garbage, and since we didn’t get out of the first round the past few years haters went “McDavid doesn’t show up in the playoffs”. Only difference is this year he literally put 17 players on his back and DRAGGED us into the second round

      He is probably the best offensive player I've ever seen. He skates SO FAST and can stop on a dime. He's 3 steps above everyone on D. They just can't defend him. It's like trying to catch a rabbit and he is just fiercly looking to put the puck in the net by any means necessary.

    Everyone thinks the Kings D gave up, but I played D for 19 years. They didn't give up, they just had crap in their pants from seeing #97 entering the zone at that speed in the 3rd, and they knew the result before it happened. It's very hard to skate when you've crapped your pants.

    Disappointed that the Kings lost the series having two chances to end it. Having said that, McDavid is something else. He is a once in a generation talent. Wish that the Kings had someone like him. He seemed to be playing every other shift. Amazing.

    This series was nuts I don’t think people are giving the Kings enough credit after game 1 I said this is going 7 and when the kings took the series lead people made fun of Edmonton saying they are loosing to a weak Kings team. The Kings played amazing why it went too 7 give them some credit.

    Looking back, and thinking about how big this goal was, not just for the Oilers fan, but to Connor personally. I mean think about it. The year before, his team got swept by the Jets despite being the better team for a good chunk of that series. The year before that, COVID broke up the season, and Edmonton lost to a Chicago team that really shouldn't have been in the playoff conversation. So this was HUGE for him, huge for the team, and huge for the fanbase.

    La d'man number 50 totally gave up on the play when he saw he was getting called...just stand there and throw up you're arms while the best player in the world has the puck behind the net. And it was only a one goal lead at the time...brutal!!
