Design During & After the Pandemic: School of Design Panel Discussion

It is undeniable that design responds to a changing world- and there has been no shortage of major change (and monotony?) over the last two years. While the pandemic is far from over, our relations to things, spaces, and one another across the world of design has been lastingly altered. As we look at the way the design landscape has changed over the last two years, education will need to respond accordingly to ensure learners are prepared to hit the ground running when they graduate.

Join us for a panel discussion on designing, teaching, and working in a pandemic. Industry professionals, faculty members, alumni, and students from the School of Design will share the experiences that have characterized the last year of their life, including challenges, barriers and opportunities. Audience members will be able to ask questions and share their own perspectives on the changes felt across design education and work over the last two years.
