I just bought a v6 Challenger. I have a hemi donor car for swap. I'm just going to do it hillbilly style and do whatever it takes to fire up the engine even I have to put in a generic push button and toggle switch. If mounts don't line up, I'll cut steel and make mounts. If drive shaft no longer works, I'll cut and weld that also. As long as she fires up and drives down the road, I can run a toggle switch for anything I need to work.
Love the build. Would be good to know what were your biggest Road Blocks and the time to get this completed and overall cost. Looking to do this with my son's 6 cylinder Dodge Charger, but a little nervous to take it on. Keep Making cool videos. Cheers!

Fr. Removing the entire wiring harness in a dodge charger is extremely difficult, possible but difficult. Unless u do this all the time and you have experience. But the rest is a breeze. Well kinda, it just sucks that u have to transfer over the entire system. But it's the only way. to ensure that you'll have no problem down the road. It definitely sounds easier than it rilly is.
The only swap I ever did was converting my 1970 Nova from straight 6 and 3 speed to 327 with Muncie 4 speed. Insanely easy back then without computer. Only had to change motor mounts and radiator. Holes for V8 mounts were already in the frame and 4 speed had same mounts and dimension as 3 speed.
i have a sxt and i have a scatpack motor ready to swap but i wanted to ask is it possible to switch a sxt 2014 challenger gauge cluster and steering wheel Dashboard cover and center console to a 2020 scatpack ( i wanna change the 2014 dashbaord and screen and center console )

When swapping a v6 to v8 5.7 does the year of the engines matter? I have 2019 challenger v6 trying swap a 5.7 but before I buy engine does it have to be a 2019 5.7 engine that I buy for swap or can it be any year of a 5.7

most deff plug and play with 5.7 swaps the things u listed really all u need......id say later down the line get some good breaks and change little things as time go on
Ain’t no wayyyy. My boy just crashed my 392 v8 shaker & the engine is pristine but the transmission needs to be replaced & some work on the axial, ABS, power steering
I would had rebuilt that motor before I dropped her in it is a hellcat motor and I'm pretty sure whom ever had it before you most likely gave that motor a run for it's money and while it's out of the car you have plenty of space to get the motor back 100% Zero Miles and free from diseases.
