নার্গিস লালা গোলাপ আঙুর-লতা
শিঁরি-ফরহাদ-শিরাজের উপকথা

বুলবুলি, দিলরুবা, রবাবের গান॥
তব প্রেমে উন্মাদ ভুলিল সেলিম সে যে রাজধিরাজ-
চন্দন সম মাখিল অঙ্গে কলঙ্ক লোক-লাজ।
যে কলঙ্ক লয়ে হাসে চাঁদ নীলাকাশে
(যাহা) লেখা থাকে শুধু প্রেমিকের ইতিহাসে
দেবে চিরদিন নন্দন-লোকচারী
তব সেই কলঙ্ক সে প্রেমের সম্মান॥
