New subscriber here. I authorized myself on a tc I raided that was unlocked. Then I immediately got banned for teaming, it was a duo or trio server. It wasn't a game ban just a server, can i get kicked from your servers for this? I have no game bans on my steam account, only this one server ban on rust.

I have 13 years of service on steam and 4000 hours in just Rust and never cheated and not a single gameban or ban what so ever in any game or any account for the 35 years I have been playing games.
If I can go with 0 bans in 35 years, I expect everyone else to do the same.
EDIT: Forgot, I got banned in World of Warcraft for talking shit about a player openly in trade chat, and he got banned as well for same shit talking about me.
When we both got unbanned the same day, we both PM'd each other and laughed about it and played some dungeons together.
But was the mini ban worth?
@@fourstarjhineral8 Wouldn't say those 12 hours of ban hurt me that much, I have lived 306,600 hours so far, I can spare those 12 hours.
I mean I've never cheated but I've been unbanned off of rust on 2 sperate accounts. I've since been banned off one but sadly not the main one. They had reached out to me a few days ago and me and a game dev spoke about my account. They said that if everything I've given checks out then I will be unbanned. If they need anything from me they will let me know. But I'm not going to get my hopes up because I've provided proof before to these damn game devs they kept me banned on my main for 100 days. Being better than someone comes with a cost and that cost can make you lose thousands of hours in a heartbeat. Unfortunate situation I'm in but things happen and I can't control these types of situations so I just don't even worry about them. But like I said. Not everyone is lucky enough to not get banned for false accusations or some shit that they never did.

Just saying collateral damage when it comes to catching cheaters will occur once in a while, small price to pay for cheat free servers.

That last kid, I think, was speaking from the heart. He got frustrated and made a bad decision and he fully regrets it and understands the consequences. I do kind of feel for SOME of these kids. I've made tons of bad decisions over the years, some I'm still dealing with repercussions. I've never cheated in games in though...My mistakes were much worse and impacted my daily life.

I don't actually play rust so I kinda want to cheat on a server he admins on just to do that. I think it would be so funny.
@@ryanbrooks8630 Don’t. In the future you may want to play Rust and won’t be able to because of your Rust game ban. Plus the game ban is displayed on your Steam profile permanently. It can’t be hidden or removed. And it also isn’t a guarantee that Camomo will confront you. It could be another admin or even just the anti-cheat.
@@Robertganca it was a joke I'm not actually going to cheat on rust. I've played like 20 hours of rust it just isn't my type of game. I love watching content on it but it's not a game I like to play. Mostly because I'm just trash at the game and don't want to take the time to learn how to play.

As a gamer since the birth of games and still own my original Atari 2600(the first console) and my Amstrad 464(the very first PC) from the mid 80's, I love the way you humiliate and mess with people who think it is ok to cheat. Are griefers in games like in GTA? Absolutely. Annoying to be sure, but it's not cheating. If console mmo griefers bother you, that's rough luck, they're going to continue, and your hurt feelings won't change that.
You almost sound like someone who's really bad at games, and because of that, you want to cry cheater when you lose. I suck at most pvp games but I have never once cried cheater when I lost.
PC platform mmo games on the other hand, have rules on cheating. Doing so can result in bans like we see happening here. Others can result in the whole guild/clan getting banned or credit towards progression removed. I personally have seen this happen to a guilds/clans for exploiting. Beating raid bosses in ways that were never intended.
@@time.worn-soul8243 cheating used to be more prominent with ps3 to ps4 mods and “exploits”. GTAO doesn’t have any like aimbot or things like that. GTAO console just has modded accounts and loooooots of ddosing lmao nothing worse then getting orbital cannoned by a kid who had a modded ps3 and can spam orbital cannons and then keep you offline for the rest of the day just because they’re bored.

What I notice is a lot of these cheaters are subscribers to your channel. So they come to the comment section trying to demonize you knowing that they damn well a cheater or used to be one.
They make up excuses "admin abuse waaaah" "maybe someone on my computer did", "I brought this account" (which is the dumbest excuse ever why would you buy an account if you can't afford rust? Might as well save up and buy rust) "I'm not a cheater". When they obviously are. The denial, entitlement and excuses are disgusting

don't know if you still want to know, but i believe there are programs to inflate the hours by "running" multiple instances of a game at once to inflate the hours in a really short amount of time. Similarly, there are idle programs that don't actually launch the game but kinda have a ghost instance of it running to generate steam card drops in a short amount of time. Not 100% on the exact details, but i believe they both do similar things to achieve their goals.
