Expert Tire Technician! I’m sorry but no, that is a fib to far, he literally stitched and glued two old tyres together, it’s a tyre cut and shut. Terrible terrible idea and it’s a matter of time before these bodge artists kill someone.

After watching a number of these, Im wandering why, with the economy strained now for everyone, why in agricultural equipment and off-road vehicles why more cultures of people use this service. The work these ppl do is unreal ..... and do it well enough that they guarntee their products. Most of the tires in these videoes seem to be used mainly in tye agricultural and mining industries. Id think that with material costs soaring, properly trained tire repair ppl could save ppl tons if money by simply reworkinh/repairing these heavy tires .... Id think such a repair business wouid flourish.
Heavy highway-use tires might not qualify for heavy loads at 60+ mph, but for tires such as farm tractors, combines etc, plus construction equipment could save a fortune. These workers are impressive, to say the least.

That repair looks sketchy af, I'm trying to think about 8k lbs+ load on this tire and it makes me nervous lol possibly tubed I could get over it tho, then the tube does all of the pressure work.

A quick web search gave me a rough guessimate for a new tyre at around $4000 each I can only assume they're EXPENSIVE there too!
As for the repair? I doubt it would cost more than $300 or their equivalent
P.S. I've seen surgical stitching tgat doesnt look this good? Lol

I don't think this tyre has been repaired. It was simply glued together from another piece of junk, hoping that by some miracle it would withstand the pressure and torque. Crazy number of man hours to make one piece of junk into another.

I see the workers walking on a dirt ground or sandles don’t they get rock or nails in there feet ! Don’t they have shoes or they just are used to not wear protection when working around machinery one step on a nail or piece of glass and you are out of work !
