Saw them both together at earls court, on BBs, farewell tour. Gary played the first half and the sound was poor, but they got it fixed by time BB came on. BB thanked London for first raising him up, played his set then a couple with Gary. The venue was awful, seating appalling but we suffered to see our heros. A memorable concert.
BB King IS the blues? I like BB King don't get me wrong. But there sure are a lot of people you are passing over to move him to the top. And Gary Moore is ok- they could have put 9 guys named Frank up there and they'd have done a passable job.
Great reaction my friend. Two absolute legends. Miss them both. Gary was the greatest guitarist ever to walk this earth.
