- British Showjumping star Nick Skelton had an outstanding career that lasted over decades. In 2016, at the age of 58, Nick won an individual Jumping Gold medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the seventh Olympics he competed at. In an interview with Equestrian World, Nick talked about his phenomenal career and about his long-time partnership with his stallion Big Star a.k.a. Henry.

The horse I ride is the half-sister to Big Star and they are so incredibly similar. Both are such amazing, talented and special horses.

@@sk_plyz2608 Her name is Leyasta. She did eventing with Alexis Helffrich (the two of them were long-listed for the Olympics, but an injury prevented it from happening for her) and jumpers with me.
In horse breeding, all horses by the same Sire are not half brothers and half sisters. It is not like humans.
Only when the horse is out of the same mare (same Dam), are they half siblings.

What an incredible horse and groom hes got, grooms are not always thanked for all the hard work they do,if it wasnt for the grooms i dont know what the riders would do without them. From an x groom.
