@@JESUSHEALSYOUNOW I literally just finished my build today.. What a dam coincidence... I had an corsair aio cooler that I took off the tubing and added clear tubing... Then I looped the cpu with the gpu the reservoir and a corsair d5 pump reservoir.... So far so great
@@JESUSHEALSYOUNOW My aio was like your with the 1/4 barbs on it.. I bought plastic converters from Amazon that helped me go from 1/4 to 3/8 tubing and then I used zip ties to tighten everything up
No clue why your stepping up the tubing size other then to try and get leaks. It won't improve cooling at all. Also it doesn't look good with hose clamps, so clearly not what you were going for either.
Jeff M How is that a ridiculous answer? It’s literally the only valid reason to increase the tubing size. It makes a difference, albeit small. Some people want to squeeze every last bit of life out of the equipment they have until they can afford to step up to something properly better.
I'm doing a similar job soon... I'll be back for your insight
Let me know it was pretty easy

Nice vid jared! I tryd this but could not get the air out of the tubes when the tubes was Much bigger. Did u manage to get the air out?
You need a reservoir so you can get one on ebay for cheap or just run the intake and outake into a cleaned waterbottle
@@JESUSHEALSYOUNOW Ye but Even with a res i cant get the air out of the loop if i incease tube size : /
So you can add a reservoir or you can turn the system on and move the rad above everything and the air goes in there ... A reservoir would be best

Jeff M Increased water volume
@@whygoogle5051 Ridiculous answer. So 30 seconds more heat soak time. Pointless.

The reason which I explained is 1 to see fluid for colored dyes, adding a GPU, or larger tubing will have more mass which gives you more to dissipate
@@whygoogle5051 Other than the rudenes here... If u use Black zipties bigger tubes looks better
