Jehovah's Witness End Game: Who Dodges the Fireballs at Armageddon?

  • Is it true that only Jehovah's Witnesses will dodge the fireballs at Armageddon? Let's unpack decades of eager anticipation for a mass genocide from the 'god of love, not fear' (1 John 4:18) and his chosen guys in upstate New York... after all, those guys were chosen by Jesus to help him decide who gets to be bird food... and who get's to live forever in khakis on a paradise earth!
    NOTE: still need to shave your face in paradise and dogs will now be on leashes.

    I am born in. I turned 15 in 1975. Yes I thought it was very strange that I was so lucky to be born in to the only religion that was going to survive. And everyone else had to leave their own lifelong religion and become something completely foreign to them in order to survive.

    Thank you Stacy. A quick observation please comment! At 15:51 you are asking about why you were chosen. In 2000 I had been an elder for 5 years. I had a job working for a man who was a born again Christian. He was a millionaire several times over. Yet he adopted children regularly who had no parents. He unselfishly gave to charities in the city that helped homeless, mentally ill, and pregnant teenagers. One night 2 of us were meeting with a couple who had marital problems. The guy who was called a Brother and a "true christian" told us he regularly abused his wife. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. His wife admitted she regularly called him every name in the book and verbally abused him. That night the light came on for me. How dare I judge my boss as dead at Armageddon? He had more Christianity in his pinky than these 2 had in their entire bodies. Yet Jehovah was going to give these 2 a ticket to the paradise, because they were jws! This narrative that jws are special is straight up total nonsense.

      @survivingparadisepodcast  Před 2 lety +10

      YES!! I can tell very similar stories. I've known people that were never JW's that were so charitable, honorable and generous. But they were all 'dead' because they weren't a baptized JW. It may be one of the single most damning things to prove JW's are a cult. There are many. But the belief that such wonderful people would be destroyed is just absurd. It also flies in the face of the Bible. Example: see The Good Samaritan...... and what was the point of that entire story?? It shows the damage done to JW's brains/critical thinking

    • @ronhansen8471
      @ronhansen8471 Před rokem

      You say you were an Elder but apparently it was in name only? Us humans are imperfect, and we have Satan poking at our imperfection like a festering wound. As an Elder you are required to help that couple not as a shrink but as a shepherd. A true Christian does not abuse his wife and the wife does not abuse her husband. There is mental considerations that may need to be checked by a professional. Have you lived with someone with severe depression or ADHD? Not a happy time. These ones need as much loving support as possible. Your attitude toward those two having trouble is telling. Read about King Manasseh and what he did and after all that Jehovah God still forgave him.
      You should know better about what the JW organization donates in time and money to the world communities for disaster relief. I was part of the LDC construction group that included disaster relief for non-Witnesses and even disfellowshipped individuals that needed help.

    I share your thoughts on all the Armageddon stuff. I grew up in it from the age of 6. My mother was sucked into the religion with the promise of everlasting life. I remember the orange paradise book and the horrible images in it. I went through my whole childhood worrying about dying at Armageddon because unlike you I didn’t feel lucky being part of that religion. I hated it. I hated going round the doors, hated being different from everyone else, hated not being able to join in all the Christmas, Birthday and Easter celebrations. I worried that I might die due to not having a blood transfusion if I had an accident. I knew in my heart I was doomed. Nothing to look forward to apart from death as I wasn’t going to survive Armageddon as Jehovah would know I hated being part of it. Left at 16. Still here 50 years later but all the indoctrination as a child never leaves you. I feel so sad for all the children still growing up in that cult today. I know that even if they manage to get out, the damage is already done. That governing body need to be locked up. Too many lives destroyed.

    Ok, I am a current JW and I have listened to the first 4 minutes of this and I had to stop because of the hypocrisy. Especially when he says, "I'm right, your wrong and you're going to die because you are not one of us." And then he laughs. Ah, didn't Jesus say the same thing about his ministry. Quote: "No one comes to the Father except through me." Ah, really Jesus. You're the only way, huh? When are you going to do a video about what Jesus said??? And don't you so-called Christians teach that only you people will rise in the rapture and the rest of us poor suckers are stuck here on earth having to endure a 7 year tribulation? Ah, so what is the difference. And need I mention about that Noah dude? Ok, but I will try to listen to more of this video and comment later.
    Ok, I am up to minute 21 now. Had to comment that JW do not teach that God reads heart and so other people may survive Armageddon. Jehovah does not go by the heart condition of people. But he judges by who is doing God's Will. Jesus said that there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. And the bible says that some people will turn to serving God. Now think about that. Did the people who did not serve God, come as a surprise to God? Of course not.. So that means that Jehovah resurrected people from the dead that HE KNEW had a bad heart. And on his questions about how God will kill babies. Hey, ask the members of other churches about that. At the rapture, God is going to bypass those little babies too. And even take saved airplane pilots and leave the rest of the poor passengers to figure out how to land that airplane.

      Hi Kenneth, thank you for listening....brave for a JW! Respect. On your reasoning and hypocrisy, there is a great deal for you to untangle there. I do LOTS of videos on what Jesus said....but respectfully, you're working off the assumption that Jesus and Jehovah's Witnesses are one and the same. That Jesus was going to one day create Jehovah's Witnesses. Completely separate subject and I'm happy to discuss it! As for what Jehovah's Witnesses and the Governing Body say....it's not debatable. It's in print. Some examples:
      "Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil." Watchtower 1989 Sep 1 p.19
      "Similarly, Jehovah is using only one organization today to accomplish his will. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it." Watchtower 1983 Feb 15 p.12
      The Governing Body: "We're right, you're wrong, follow us or die"............same message.

      @@survivingparadisepodcast Have you read my comments? Because if you did, then you would see how hypocritical you are in how you single out JW for something that most religions do. Even Jesus Christ said the same things about himself. Jesus said , "I am the Way, the truth and the life." Think about that. Because if I were a critical person like you, I would make a video about how arrogant this statement is by Jesus. So Jesus, you mean that no other faith in the whole wide world is the way, the truth and the life, except for you? And I can add a little chuckle as you do.
      And no so-called Christian faith believes that non-Christians will go up in the rapture, except for them. And there are over a billion Muslims in the world. So where is your videos attacking them?
      Jehovah is a God of order. When Jesus was on earth, he taught that ONLY those who do the Will of his Father, will be saved. And so, to your argument, I can say how out of line that statement is. And Jesus constantly condemn other faiths for not doing what the bible says to do. And so, if people of all faiths will go to heaven, then that means that Jesus was wrong in condemning other faiths for their wrong teachings and it also means that we don't need the bible, which among many things, is a book teaching us how God wants to be worship and what we must do to be saved. Because if, people of different beliefs and teachings will be saved, then we don't need to follow what the bible says to be saved.
      Eph. 4:5, says that there is only ONE Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism. And it is through that ONE FAITH, that Jesus chose to preach the Good news about the Kingdom to the world. The message has to be united. It has to be the same. 1Cor.1:10 This is how God does things. He would never have his people on earth to not be organized. No matter how humorous and strange that may seem to people. As it is obviously funny to you.
      God has to start the New World with a united group of people who all speak in agreement and who are ready to prepare the world for the resurrection of billions of people who will be taught by Jesus and a united group of 144,000 corulers.
      And if you did not leave JW, you would have learn that while billions of people will die in the great tribulation, as the majority of people died in the flood of Noah's day, God has made provisions for them to be resurrected during the 1000 year reign of Christ and be given a real opportunity at everlasting life. They are NOT doom to eternal death as other religions teach. If they are not raptured up and they don't survive the 7 year tribulation, then that is it for them.
      But JW are the ONLY faith on earth that gives billions of people who are alive today and those whom have died, a real hope at everlasting life. And that is good news.
      And so while you were wondering about the little babies that will die when this system comes to a end, there is a real hope for them. Unlike what other faiths teach. Their teachings is that a fiery lake of fire is what awaits anyone that does not believe what their rich Pastors teach. How sick is that?
      Every time Jehovah reveals new light, it is always a better light, for those who stayed. For those who understood his arrangement of things on earth. For those who were humble and knew that JW are on the right track.
      I and others had thoughts as you did. Concerned about the masses of mankind who are not JW. But now I know of the true love and concern that Jehovah has for mankind. And I know that through his heavenly and earthly organization, that he will give billions the real chance at everlasting life. And this is NOT taught in other churches today.

      @@MrRklewis kenneth....I've read them all thank you. You're basing every single reference you posted here on one massive assumption: That Jesus believes, claims and created Jehovah's Witnesses as the ONE true religion. As for the list of 'teachings' you've learned from the Governing Body and their organization, they are painfully easy to prove as false and fabrications. Unfortunately, until you personally are ready to take that journey, you will continue to defend things not taught in the Bible. Jesus spoke of one faith, one leader, one place to go: Him. Respectfully, everything you listed here is things you've been taught by Jehovah's Witnesses in their publications. As for 'light'....no kenneth.... see a past episode. There is no such things a 'new light' that is taught nowhere in the Bible. None of what you listed it....those are teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses. Example: you seem to believe that those killed in the Flood of Noah's day will be resurrected. You're misinformed, your Governing Body says they're dead forever. @@survivingparadisepodcast I see that you don't get the book of Daniel 12:4, 10 It says in the last days, those having insight will understand, and knowledge will become abundant. Which indicates that a more clearer accurate understanding of things will happen. And Acts 2:17 "God says, I will pour out some of my spirit on every sort of flesh..... Do you believe that this has happened. And so it shows that the light of truth and understanding will get brighter and shine more in the last days. And so this is evidence that new light will come in these last days. And I have taken this so-called journey. I have read many books attacking JW. Because I call myself very open minded and I believe that the truth will defend itself. And I know without a doubt that JW are the only faith that is on the right track. At Matt.24:14, and 28:18-20 Jesus says to preach about the kingdom and make disciples. And he ends by saying that he will be with the ones who are doing this work. Well, as I mentioned before, no one even has a clue what the kingdom details. They are still walking around waiting for a rapture to carry them away to heaven. Have you easily proven that wrong. Because I have. The only thing that makes sense is the 1000 year reign of Christ where the majority of mankind will be resurrected right back to the earth and given a real chance at life. And because of this understanding, Jesus is with us. And only us. Going to heaven is not reasonable. It was not even mentioned in the old testament. Burning in hell is absurd. That too was not mentioned in the old testament. But the people back there had the 37th chapter of Psalms and they hoped to live on earth forever as God promised. And we today have preached about this same hope.
      And those who died in the flood of Noah's day , as well as some who will die in the great tribulation will be resurrected as they have not violated Matt.12:31. This is some of the new light that you did not received. You see, those of us who stayed because we knew that JW were on the right track, God will bless them will more and more refinement and spirit. If you had saw an error, then you should have been more respectful and shared this in a proper way. And even if they didn't agree with you and you were right, Jehovah would have appreciated your patience and it would have been corrected.
      But instead you chose to tear down and attack God's people with the spirit that God poured on you. You wasted that spirit. Some people here obviously have a spirit of insight and discernment. And God knows this and he would have used you in some degree. Especially in the new world. But you earned the anger of God with these hateful posts.
      I see errors made in some of our teachings. But I see enormous good in the majority of our teachings too. Without the GB, I probably will be waiting on this crazy rapture too. I have written many letters about the errors and have always been received with kindness and respect from the service dept. I didn't go on You Tube and attack them. Even now, I am waiting for a response from the service dept. regarding a letter I wrote about this coming Armageddon.

    I did a JW bible study in 2016/17. They didn't say ONLY JW would survive Armageddon.

      Of course they didn't Mark. That is a common practice to get new people to take 'bible studies' ...but it is most DEFINITELY what they believe and teach once they get you past a certain point. They don't want you to 'run' ....so they stay away from such blunt comments. But do the research yourself. They most definitely teach and believe they alone will survive the end of the world. If you're not a baptized JW, you will be killed by Jehovah and his son Jesus. EXAMPLE: "Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil." Watchtower 1989 Sep 1 p.19.

      @@intellecta840 Yes they most certainly do say that, right? We call that 'closing the deal'... show them pictures of people frolicking with panda bears and close the deal by stating: "you now have to get baptized to survive and be there, because if you don't, you're dead" …it's truly ridiculous that anyone argues this point. If it was so open ended, why bother to preach, study or do anything else? JW end goal: get baptized or die.
