So glad you picked this!! Lol I just watched it again a few weeks back!!! This movie inspired me to Pursue screen writing… the fact this whole movie from open line to fine line have no rhyme or reason… the gas station scene are hilarious carnival scenes are funny too… but the gas station scenes from the cans being shot to the guys who want to Rob the gas station… just perfect funny scenes that don’t drive the story but they are perfect examples of driving the narrative… which is how Ridiculous and clueless he is

You totally have to do a Wes Anderson movie!! Or something like a Mighty Wind which would both be great examples of amazing writing meets amazing comedic acting

I couldn't agree more. A Mighty Wind is an underrated movie. Absolutely brilliant. I'll consider doing this format again. I'm working on more comedy writing for stand up next.

Nice. I liked your review. I think a person could get away with that same premise as long as the writers, directors, etc. were black people. Most of the people are doing ridiculous stuff like saying a black woman looked like a Planet of the Apes character. I think done the right way, they could remake this movie. ha ha
