Ebay sells fresh rubber brake pads for those Chorus calipers. I purchased 2 pairs for my Cobalto (SR) brakes and zero squealing on my MAVIC aluminum rims.

Very nice restoration I put loctite on the pedal clip bolts and a small amount of grease on all bolts Glad to see you did not spoil the finish by polishing keeping the original finish Good work 👍
hi Mike Foster, I am very happy that you like it. yes it is important to me to keep the old patina, even damage is part of the history of this bike. You're absolutely right about the screws, I'll change that later.

good job, but i see you misplaced the spring in the rear derailleur. hence the weird position of the lower cage. it will never shift well like this.
