Awwwww my Kobe. Honestly, more than anything, I think he was tired. There was definitely some terrible 2's mixed in there as well, but the way he was weeping broke Aunties heart. He means well. He's trying you guys to see what he can get away with too, normal. But what a good boy to help in put the heavy groceries away! I was cracking up when he was grunting picking up the heavier items 🤣🤣 Bless Mum & Dad....it's a trying time, he wants some control but as much as it hurts, definitely nip that in the bud! It's ok for children to have choices. It helps them to learn who they are. Kids who grow up with no control over anything are usually unable to function as adults. They just take whatever happens because that's how it was when they were kids.

It looks like “Freestyle Friday” turned into “Frustration Friday” for Kobe. It’s part for the course. While you are teaching Kobe discipline and boundaries, he’s at the age now where he wants to assert his autonomy. Kobe is a great kid and I love how he redeemed himself later by helping mom. It is good to let Kobe help out. Sometimes as parents we are so busy and harassed by life in general that we do not allow our children this valuable time to develop because we just want to get it done. Good job mum and dad.💜

This is one of the BEST videos of Family Time! It was filled with decision making by Kobe. It showed Kobe listening intently and nodding in agreement as if he understood Mommy and Daddy completely. His mood swings are adorable. But he usuly bounces back to show us his brilliant personality. Kobe gets a badge today for helping Mom with the groceries AND checking to make sure that every item had been removed from the bags. Great job, Kobe!🍎

At first I thought Kobe was sleepy. That’s when he was eating and when he couldn’t choose which tv show to watch. I said, ohoh freestyle Friday went bust. Kobe peaked too soon 😂😂. But then, helping to put the groceries away I guess Kobe got his second wind. He was the way we all love to see him, helpful, happy, and full of energy. I think he gets that he's being talked to in a reasonable way and something about, when things are difficult, there's an option to talk it gently through with Mum & Dad. It is precious because his views are attended to, and he sees that talking about stuff is available.

By the time this child reaches school age he is going to be so far advanced than his peers. I love it how you talk to him, giving him choices, and letting him know he has to stick with that choice. You both also show him so much love by being lovable to one another as well as to him.
