Matchmaking is even worse than it already was, played 4 solo games and died to pred every time even doe my highest rank is gold
yeah solos will be full of sweats rn, new season dropped and people been itching for solos for 5 years. It might cool down later this week

The matchmaking at the start of every season is horrible and feels almost unplayable. I think the matchmaking is reset every season for some reason.

The people who buy cosmetics like heirlooms are ruining the game because it signals to EA that stuff like Melee reskins are worth 150+ dollars.

honestly this is a much smoother launch than what we usually get. I'd take this as a massive W considering what we could've had

I said the exact same thing last season and the season before that. Now i dont expect anything and just play whenever and close the game and not think too much about it anymore. Not just apex. Gaming in general is getting boring af

The worst change was removing duos. Why can’t solos be it’s own mode? Nothing against solos I think it’s good. But why did it need to replace duos?

queue times is why. If you add solos as its own mode it spreads the player base thinner meaning less people are in queue for each game mode, meaning longer queue times. And for some regions duo Q already has absurd wait times
As a Valk main, she’s been basically unusable for weeks with 3 strikes and now this! Maybe it’s time to apologize to the old qa team and beg them to come back?

Former valk main. I stopped playing her as frequently due to last seasons bugs and how bad she's felt lately. I wish they'd make her better again 😭

It's called the jadeite retribution it released in season 16 I think towards the end I think in that valentine event or like 2 weeks right after it ppl hated it immediately yet so many still bought it and it never came back it's a green and red Christmas yellow recolor of the old pk reactive skin forgot what season it came out in probably season 3 with that cool ice Pathfinder skin

anyone else had issues with audio. i have many clips of people walking up with absolutely no audio, even when everything is silent. its happening quite often for me, atleast often enough to be annoying

EA firing their quality team and then saying that they’re going to reduce labour through the use of AI (which clearly looks like a cosmetic use) is actually disgusting. The “sales” and “discounts” on every SINGLE item they release is beyond predatory. The people making money off of Apex are so disconnected and money hungry. I wish apex didn’t have such good core gameplay because seriously fuck EA.

man I want duos back. I had to duo vs trio with my friend the whole time because noone else could play and we don't want randoms. Who told respawn to make solos a takeover gamemode?

with the walk bug you can get jetpack fuel again but its when your feet leave the ground or something whether its jumping or falling it resets the charge cooldown
With the heirloom bug, if u want to equip the heirloom u want then matchmake into something while ur legends heirloom is equiped but dont exit out of the legend or else itll just unequip it which u already know cuz of the bug,

you actually can get the heirlooms on i did it. so when you equip it quickly switch to a different tab so not press escape or wait longer then 8 seconds
If it were actually portal, you’d be able to shoot through it, which would be super cool
That heirloom glitch will be fixed within a day. That valk glitch will stay until season 24
I'm really curious on which legends are most popular with players who have no main. I'm guessing Fuse, Ash, Crypto and NewCastle
cant even start the game on ea-app. either pc crashes, or game just shuts down.
You can equip the heirlooms if you first ready up and then select the heirloom in the melee tab and stay there
Yh maybe they fixed the ranked rewards by actually giving them but they gave the wrong rewards. I got diamond slip 1, reset to gold split 2, I ain’t play that again to tank my kd. And they gave me the gold badge, even though I got diamond, that officially breaks my diamond+ streak I’ve had since season 3.

Yeah that was weird I was plat the first split pred second and I got animated pred for it instead of the plain one

You can still use your heirlooms have your squad ready up then select your heirloom equip and ready up you load in quick enough for it to stay equipped
There's another glitch where legends don't pose in banners anymore. It's just the frame lol
1:30 this is also happening with the founders badge and the starter pack badges for a while now, though sadly no one has had any part of that in their videos on it sadly
if you equip heirloom and go to firing range, you can check if its equiped for me it works

You can still equip your heirloom, you need first to start looking for a match and after equip the heirloom but you need to stay on that screen
Yeah i never received my heirloom shards from the little 20 hour outage they had at the beginning of april. No word, no tweet on that nothing just vanished

Im pretty sure that if you ready up and then go to the locker and equip the heirloom and dont leave the screen, you'll have it in game
I don't have any issues with my heirlooms, the issue I have is that in the lobby I can't customise a single one of the recon, support or controller legends lmao, the categories all show but there aren't any icons for me to click into, only assault and skirmisher. GG Respawn
Damn, since they fired the game testers, we always get problems with every update
a lot of people including my self seem to be having audio and rendering issues in the game. where in the lobby everything struggles to load in in the game. players and guns struggle to load in and 80% of the audio is non existent and 15% of the audio is delayed by 5-10 seconds

For me, my Ranked menu says its done is 6 days?? Also, no pictures of the legends show up in the banners when the match starts lmao
Bugged on your end, mine was the same. I got my rewards for last season like an hour and a half after it dropped
If you want to use your heirloom you have to ready up then go to the Legend equip the heirloom and were you equip the heirloom you have to stay there till you load into the game.
The entire event screen just doesn't show up for me. The game does not even acknowledge that there IS an event going on

I guess I am lucky? All my heirlooms are still equipped in matches. Perhaps it helps that I havent touched their loadout pages, but so far I havent encountered that bug.
Anyone else noticed that recoil feels much easier than last season ? Cus the flatline doesnt feel like there is any recoil without a stock now

I just don't have any audio in game it cuts in and out with a audio error symbol that pops up
the recon support and Controller legends wont show for me in the lobby. i cant change my skins on them or anything
In mixtape you cant use alter's ult unless you want to break you abilities
After using ult you wont be able to use you passive tactical and ult on any legend
If you pick and heirloom and go straight to a match you will have an heirloom equiped,but you have to do it over and over again

Also when you try to b-hop or just slide and you press A to go left on MnK you wont be able to but pressing D to go right works fine
I got octane stimming in my back pocket and no audio. Full teams flying on my head and no audio. This is the worst apex has ever been.

0:40 its not quicker, the timer for the "phase" is still there. Its purely an visual issue. (original "phase" length is 1 sec, and the "no phase" is also 1 sec. All before you can pull out your gun.)

I've dead and had teammates as apex preds when I'm in bronze 1, like what am I supposed to do
when I open apex a everything looks good but when I get to the lobby i can se the lobby for a second then it kicks me out of the game with some wierd ass error about files and veryfing files doesn't work too :( I even reinstaled the game but nothing work:(

Thats not a glitch. Pretty sure the care package destroys every device like jump pads or walls etc
My game refuses to load, it claims in the top thats its resource starvation. My memory and cpu is fine. Its the only game not working right. And ive never had problems with apex. Lowering graphics doesn't fix it.
i played day of update and i never had a problem equiping my heirlooms, it might have to do with me buyying all the types of katars
Don’t forget about the internet connection, normally I sit at a good 20ping flawless, but this has got me at 180+ I can’t even play a game or swap pages most the time. I play other games and they run smoothly what’s up with that
I keep hearing people say OH we got it back then. Some of us haven't been playing forever. It's mostly for them. We can finally use money to get a pay to win skin for our own use.

The heirloom not being able to equip is wrong. Equip go in a game and you have it. If you leave the match and go in another its gone tho. If you reque it keeps the heirloom equipped.
it also has no audio when you go through it keep killing alters because they don’t know i’m following them also i didn’t know other people would also see other players red in the void it’s kinda op they can’t really hide when running
not really that big of a glitch but teleporting into a zone in control via alter's tactical seems to make you unable to capture it till you hop off & on again

I gifted 4 battle passes last season to get the reactive flatline skin however it reset and went back to 2/6 for the challenge. I’m so mad. Can’t trust apex. Opened a support ticket and they haven’t answered me

Also it is so annoying that I hear apex players complaining about solos coming back, even though they LITERALLY ASKED FOR SOLOS TO COME BACK

Don't buy them. They're just cosmetics anyway. I think they're too expensive even in more well to do countries. Skins should be like $5, not 4x or more that amount.
You can bypass the heirloom glitch by loading into a match on the equip screen with the heirloom selected. So i guess if you cant ply without your 500$ heirloom, do this

Why can’t EA just give heirloom shards to everyone as compensation for all these heirloom bugs and they would still make money from doing so because I am sure a lot of would buy the new artifacts if we just got the heirloom shards.
If you equip the heirloom when starting the game you can use the heirloom during that game 🤷
