I really appreciate the fact that Paulo Costa learned English. Not many Brazilian fighters have made this effort, which really surprises me.
Anderson Silva was a Brazilian that always spoke perfect english but sometimes acted like he needed a translator and spoke strictly Portuguese it was weird
@Borgborg128 because one of the most badass fighters of all time sounds like a 12 year old boy when he speaks English. When I heard him say fighting is my heart in English I lost it. Anderson should only speak Portuguese.
Yall could also learna new language too, you guys would enjoy the fighters personality way more. Brazlians been a major part of the sport of a while now and like 3 people from the UFC team prob even know how to speak, i know a commenter knows how to speak Portuguese, and Ariel knows how to say good day in portuguese lol.
We also learn enlgish in school but its not that good, but the average Brazilian knows a little something
@@bleeem Yep, but people are forced to learn English because it's an international language, learning Portuguese or Italian, unfortunately, would be rarely useful for a native English speaker.

It's easy to lose touch with somebody's cleverness when there is a language barrier, but Paulo's wit comes through just as strong as an American. Absolutely hilarious.
