Stell's performance is nothing short of impressive. And what makes it even more incredible is that it was unplanned, not part of the concert repertoire, and an impromptu challenge from David Foster. It's insane to think that he had already sung three high-pitched and vocally demanding songs, and to top it off, he's not in the best condition (he's sick). I had to mention, too, that a day prior to the concert, SB19 had intense performances at an event. And the elephant in the room-he's a man, hitting the piece in female key and doing it cleanly. Stell is a legend in the making!
I have heard many great singers sing this song but for me,Stell gives sweet intonations,gorgeous light flexes to his clear singing and riffs and runs as he belts and expresses the emotions of the word expressed in the song. That’s why he’s called THE HEAVENLY VOICE

Muchos gracias for your reaction. Actually he was asked to be the opening act where he sang All I Ask, his debut single Room, and Defying Gravity. His All By Myself performance was not part of his set list. He was just asked by David Foster during the technical rehearsal. In fact that wasn't rehearsed cause what Sir David showed him prior is the arrangement and the key. The original plan was Stell to sing 3 songs as front act: All I Ask, Defying Gravity, and Room (his solo debut) but during the soundcheck, Sir David Foster asked Stell if he can sing All By Myself. He said yes, and the rest is history. 😊

Just to give you a trivia, SB19 is the group who sang “Gento,” if you know that song. Please do check out their AMAZING ballads too. Some that I can recommend are “Liham,” “Ilaw,” “Nyebe,” and “Mapa.”
Also, Stell recently debuted as a solo artist with the song “ROOM.” It has more of a funk-pop vibe and it showcases his singing and dancing skills. We would love for you to check it out too!

Thank you for reacting on this👍 Before David discovered Charice Pempengcofrom the Phils too..and now Stell..but whats amazing is Stell didnt have much preparation for this performance since he was only invited to be the front act, where he sang Defying gravity, All i ask of Adele and his debu song Room( i hope you can chk it out too) then, on the day of the concert's sound chk, David was in the piano and told Stell to sing, Stell ask what song Sir? All by my self i want to hear said David..then asked Stell if he wanted to sing it on his main show..though Stell was surprised and nervous he answered if its okay with you Sir, then David just gave the arrangement to him🤩 that why youll see and notice on Stell's performance he's very nervous and focus on David's piano.. seems he's praying all the time in instrumental part but he's murmuring to himself remembering the arrangement of David..and there goes!🎉 He nailed it! 🤩🥰😉✌️🍓♥️

Thank you so much for validating what I thought as well about the bridge part when he went so soft before belting out 😍🙏 Only you and 2 other reactors were able to point it out while the rest of the other reactors thought his voice cracked. I only managed to pick up his soft note through another fan cam with a close uo version of him singing that part 😅
Just wanted to add that this was an impromptu performance. He was only approached during soundcheck to do the song by David Foster himself. He was actually so shocked because David asked him to do a run just to try it, which he did using a mix of headvoice and falsetto 💖
Also, you were right. The filming was from the crowd area so any audio received was from the speakers and bot directly from his mic.
