    Your videos have been very helpful. I was stuck on a TCR versus the Emonda SL7 for the longest time but I've decided to go with Trek mainly because of their customer service and warranty.

    Don’t mess with tubeless for a tire narrower than 28. You need higher pressures for road tires and this makes it harder to make a rim with a good tire-rim interface, not to mention fix on the side of the road if the sealant fails. Not worth the trouble. A lightweight clincher with a latex or TPU tube can get you close to tubeless weight.

    Hello I looking to get a same emonda
    Still thinking what size should I get 52cm or 54cm
    I’m 175cm 30 inseam
    Current ridding 2017 giant tcr advanced size small
    Saddle height from BB 71cm
    With 4cm stem spacers.

    • @pattnwia
      @pattnwia  Před rokem

      Hi, I think you the small Emonda would be a closer fit to your current TCR. I would suggest giving both sizes a try, just so you can have a comparison and because the bar width/stem length/cranks would also be different.

  • @jimmylee3612
    @jimmylee3612 Před 2 lety +1

    Hey Kyo. How do like about the size? I am about your height, but ordered a 52 and waiting (ETA Sep per Trek Burnaby). Trek Burnaby told me 54 would be the right size for me however I had test ride for both 52 and 54 then I felt more comfortable with 52 so I went with it. Now I feel like I should have tried 50 as well.

    • @kyotang8657
      @kyotang8657 Před 2 lety +1

      It really depends on your body composition. The best thing is look at your length of your Inseam, if your are around my height you could have longer legs, then from there if you have long arms too then 52 should be okay but otherwise m, 50 would work. So you can definitely try the 52, and they have a 30 day return policy then switch to a smaller size if it does not work

      I have a 4 year old SL7 di2 disc Ultegra 11 speed.. 58cm..takeaways: bars come stock 42 but feel like 44.. way to wide for most riders.. I resized to 40cm..
      Poor choice to offer the tubeless ready design.. need to buy a wheel strap that eats up all the wheel valley space, making tubeless GP5 almost impossible to fit (for me at
      Least) .. guess that’s where they cut cost. Agree- must be TR now..
