sweet spot felt pretty standard at least off the tee, the true test will be live pitching. It's a standard Monsta Midload, but with the even shorter barrel it does come through pretty darn quick.
Yeah, I find pretty much all bats are better off the tee, I can swing out of my shoes with little to no consequence. I’m really curious to see what it’s going to be like in live pitching. I’ve got a bunch of guys coming Friday, young to old, new players to veteran players, I’m excited.
well, it has a 2500 handle, so yes it very much feels like that. And M2 and M5 are the same composite makeup, the M% just went away from decal graphics and now has and outer graphic layer.
According the Carl it’s the best bat he has ever made, it’s all gonna come down to personal preference. If you are the type of hitter that can live in the barrel and sweet spot this bat will do you very well. If not, there are better options.
In my humble opinion I’m going to say yes. That bat is bananas…I was scared to swing it in the cold weather for fear of the wring up but for an 11” inch barrel it wasn’t even an issue. We took a couple hundred cuts in total on this bat and it held up like a g. I can’t wait for the other bat reviewers take on it because they are going to trip!!!
Yeah, i guess I should rephrase that. I do think that the new MX tech is best version Monsta has put out. Luckily they are offering it in the classic 12.5" format as well as the 11". Personally I am going to be picking up the 12.5" Torch version because that is what I am comfortable with and know I would be more consistent with. Hopefully that helps.
It will not be banned, this exact set up has already passed certification… I put it through the wringer and hands down the best bat I have swung being at monsta!
the Torch has been my go to gamer for clutch situations for years now, that being said the SB-2 clutched out a grand salami on Sunday. Torch has a more forgiving sweet spot, but the 11" barrel bats to me are higher risk, higher reward. I like the extra pressure.
from what I have seen the first small batch of test production bats has arrived, just waiting on the main shipment now. I still need to edit the video for the live pitches, life has just been too busy.
@@BatFlipBP any chance you guys can do a video for bats that would be amazing for fp12 clinchers nyc league are only allowed to play with those and would love to get the right bat for them.
@@ILIEIG1IT I did a whole round of testing on a couple of 16" clinchers I had laying around, I just can't remember which did best. Check out the @ClincherCrew channel. Those guys should have some insight, they are up in NY as well.

Short barrels are going to be better off the tee. One piece as well. They usually are less forgiving on mishits and smaller sweet spot as well.

i think they are amazing bats just dont like the fact that they don't offer warranty what if the bat breaks for w..e. reason
