This week, we take a look back at some of the unique trains that we have filmed at the Illinois Railway Museum. It is famously known as the largest railway museum in America because of its enormous collection of historic railroad equipment located in Union, Illinois. See Frisco 1630 and Shay 5 run on the four mile demonstration track along with CB&Q 9911A running the Nebraska Zephyr including a few other diesel engines such as ATSF 92, Chicago & North Western 411, Milwaukee Road 118-C, Metra 308, Rock Island 4506, and many more!

I’ve been there at least 5 times! I’ve been on the Frisco steam locomotive, and the Zephyr. I highly recommend this place for rail fans such as myself :D
I love that mini Frisco 1630! Those live steam guys have a great setup going.
I am from crystal lake. Me and my friends used to take joyrides to Union when gas was cheaper. We would always drive by the rail museum and check it out then head back into crystal lake

You did a great job A-Train4014 Productions. I wish I can visit the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois. I am going to be visiting the Texas State Railroad in July 3rd 2020. The railroad found in Rusk and Palestine, Texas. And the Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, Texas to be in July 5th 2020.

Wonderful video compilation of the Illinois Railway Museum! Unfortunately, IRM is closed until September 15, 2020, all the special events between May 30 and September 15 have been canceled, and the only donation IRM is accepting is for the Museum's General Fund.

What is your favorite engine out of the whole museum? My 2 personal favorites would be the Frisco 1630 and one of the Santa Fe steam engines.
