Amazing Lake Michigan Landscape Tour ~ One Year Later!

- Join me as I tour you through this gorgeous lakeside landscape right on the shore of Lake Michigan! We built this one year ago, and site visits like this are so fun to see how things are growing in, and identify some areas for further plantings and enhancements.

Thank you Jack for this updated amazing tour. And also, a huge thank you to the family that owns this beautiful home for allowing us to see the one year growth. I would never have guessed it was only one year. The landscape has grown so much. White hydrangeas under the front window are doing amazingly. 🍀🌷🌷🌷🌲🌳💜
No argument that Jack is insanely talented and passionate at what he does , but I think his goofy and sweet personality shines above all else

Jack you"re the best at taking nothing... and making something unexpected. God has given you such a vision for outdoor spaces. Vertical design is very hard..you make it look easy..You utilize every inch. Nothing feels wasted or empty around this home. Your design is seamless beauty! Like it always looked that way. Just amazing stonework staircases. Your design takes this home to another level..Appreciate what you do..and the dedication you bring to each project is inspiring..
Not in an envious or critical way at all, I can't comprehend the wealth that it takes to build and maintain something this wonderful. Jack, you did an amazing job. I'd be happy with one of those lovely flower beds in my little yard. Kudos to all who had a part in this project, especially your brother.

Thanks for the great revisit, Jack! I always like these comparison videos the most as one can see how much progress can be made in such a short period of time. Someday when you have time (Ha!) maybe you could do a video on all the soil preparation you do for a project like this, from gathering all the horse manure to composting to getting the right kind of soil and then putting it all together to make such a fantastic base for your plantings.
I love your use of ground covers. Here in the PNW they would overwhelm so quickly but I’m still up for trying a few. I love your videos and the love of the plants you have. You almost caress them. It’s wonderful.
The stone! It makes everything look so solid and strong... throw your worst weather at me...I can take it. Your design of this space is spot on.

Your clients must be very happy with the results! Maybe you could do a tour again in a year or two, just so we can really se the progress. It does look gorgeous now, but I'd love to see it again, when all the plants have really taken off 🙂

Superb. I enjoy your Florida landscapes as well, but your Michigan landscapes seem so more lush and dimensional. That Florida sun seems to wash everything out and it looks flat to me. On video anyway 😊
