(Hope you like a bit of constructive criticism.) I would have put the expansion tank over by the filters - just to keep everything in the same general area. Also, why did you put the filters so far over to the right? You had more room over to the left. And you should put the expansion tank the other way up (the inlet on the bottom) - then any dirt and sediment that gets in the tank, also exits the tank. The way you have it, it's a one-way trip for any dirt in the line.

Mikey, I lived in tampa Bay Area for 4 years for work relocation, and I learned that there water pipes that are in the ground about a foot and a half in the ground and with the heat beating on the ground that water from the street is almost as hot as your hotwater heater no good and also water everywhere down there taste like 💩 but theres no water like ny water thats why there's some of the greatest pizza hands down

I love ya man and learn so much from watching you but with all due respect, there is no such thing as a water softener without salt. I'd recommend getting a photometer if you're thinking of doing the water filtration thing. I think they're well worth the money.

I doubt potable water coming off a municipal system is using reclaimed water. The residue on Mikey's finger looked more like from well water. More than likely the water treatment facility is outdated. Delray Beach had an issue where some reclaimed water pipes were connected to the city's potable system. Also Rivera Beach has terrible potable water. A long overdue state of the art water treatment facility is supposed to be built. The water is extremely hard down here.

Nice work, but crimp connections are weak sauce. Expansion fittings keep the full I’d in the fittings.

Those aren't Geckos. They are Brown Anoles. Petland usually had the Green Anoles back in the day. They don't really have teeth, just feels like a minor pinch. When I was young and visited my dad in Sarasota in the summers, I would spend hours chasing and catching them. Even brought some back to Brooklyn a few times, had them in those tiny portable terrariums in the carry on bag. Don't think you could get away with that today, though.
And today I learned they are called anoles. Thanks!

We use to dick with the New Submarine Sailors and tell them to mount something on the Submarine and use a level to make sure that it level. Those Lizards are called Anole Lizards. They are usually green but can change colors to brown. They are NOT venomous and their bite is not painful. My kids use to catch them by the dozens. They even use to let them bite their ear lobes and let them hang there like ear rings.

Mike, good friends of mine bought house in farmland in NJ. Well water, they got a letter stating the water is basically poison [ lead arsenic possibly even radium etc] what is your recommendation for the best whole house filtration system? And would a filtration system even take arsenic out of the water?

If you don’t see that what you said online about your paying customer was offensive and could hurt your expansion that shocks me. In addition you instigated your employee. Agreed, I love watching Mikey Pipes and he does quality work but talking shit about the customer is disgusting and then bashing someone for pointing it out is ridiculous. He’s preaching that he is giving warnings to the guys not rolling out the red carpet and respecting the customers property but then disrespects the customer themself.
