  • Russia sustained 82,870 casualties between the start of January and April 1, 2024, according to figures published by the Ukrainian military. If Moscow continues to lose the same number of troops each day for the rest of the year, Russian forces would be on track to sustain 331,480 casualties by the end of the year, by Kyiv's count.

The Russians have changed tactics to dropping GLIDE BOMBS, using Chemical Warfare and continued MEAT WAVE ATTACKS. If the Ukrainians had been supplied sufficient artillery ammunition (especially the cluster munitions that devastate large numbers of ORCS) there would have been NO RUSSIAN GAINS. Seems from Your posts that Your happy with Russian successes, Abdullahah. wait...... ♾

      Found the quote for you
During the period this Forum has been in recess, Russia has continued to launch a barrage of drone and missile attacks across the country. Particularly devastating have been the attacks on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second most populous city. Using glide bombs, this indiscriminate weaponry has caused widespread civilian casualties, damage to local housing, medical facilities, and critical infrastructure. Similarly, on 17 April, an attack on the city of Chernihiv killed 17 people, damaged a hospital and an education facility, whilst the destruction of the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant is a cynical attack on civilian energy infrastructure. This is not the effective targeting of the Ukrainian military but a campaign of terror against the civilian population.
Where Russia has engaged the Ukrainian military, the gains have been marginal and come at significant cost. The number of Russia’s casualties now stands at over 300,000 with more than 50,000 killed. The rate of desertion is 7400 whilst western nations have received unprecedented amounts of asylum requests from Russian nationals wishing to avoid military service. This is a testament to the moral bankruptcy and distorted rationale behind Putin’s war.
      Nicholas Aucott.

@@bigolboomerbelly4348 Muchas gracias, bigol, Sir Aucott provides some acerbic commentary, and that that You share is revealing. If anything, I refer and rely on the official Ukrainian Gov stats, as they provide convincing video proofs of their takedowns and vehicle destructions.
Even more impressive was that the Russian organization responsible for dealing with death certificates, military funerals and military related pensions listed over 1,000,000 deaths and war injured veterans, if I recall correctly this was in the early Fall of last year. And then there is the Russian Gov. purchasing more than 1,000,000 Body Bags, also last year...
      Food for thought...
