The film was a classic. I dont think ever that another Romeo n Juliet will be able to replace these two. I.can go on seeing this classic on and on . Olivia was exquisite n had that virginal air another. Young Leonard had beautiful expressive eyes. Lastly they created magic with their flawless acting. The director Franco Z. was awesome in his craft. Wish we had more of such talented people around. ..
I was just a cousin of years younger than they were making that beautiful movie. I was thrilled that, finally, finally we got to see the story with actual teens!! Best Romeo and Juliet ever!! I still watch it from time to time. I remember all my girlfriends and I just wanted to look like Olivia Hussey and have a gorgeous boyfriend like Leonard’s Romeo. So magical.

It didn’t come across convincing. Here are teenagers with innocent and young firework passions that brought out the essence. The director did a great job by casting two young actors.
