- Alone at a cabin in the woods. I spent the fall solstice at a tiny cabin in Vermont. Also took a day trip to Burlington and practiced flying my drone for the first time! Even early Autumn in New England is breathtaking! I can’t wait to see more colors change over the season.

What a magical place. We do easily get burned out just coping with life. Great to take time out to recharge and reconnect with nature . My only caveat is the thought of staying on my own in the woods in a tiny cabin is giving me hives just thinking about it lol. I’ve seen too many horror films

The idea of traveling and enjoying things for your own balance is just as important as having moments with others. I am from Vermont and yes Burlington is a VT city lol as small as it is! Good choice on the mushrooms! The best mushrooms to pick in vt with little worry chicken if the woods or hen of the woods! Very tasty! Enjoy the VT green lol
Your video reminded me why I bought a log home on a Vermont hillside for escaping my city life - quiet, the sound of the wind through the trees, owls outside my window, hummingbirds that know me, locally maintained Green Mountain😊 Trails, and friendly townspeople. I think you would love living in Vermont.

I love Vermont SO FREAKING MUCH! I used to live in Stowe and the house we rented was right near the falls on the way into town. It was so nice to hear the faint roar during the summer nights when falling asleep. There also used to be a little tiny farmer's market building that was literally in our back (well, side) yard. My then wife and I would just walk a few feet to see what fresh meat/produce they had throughout the summer. The people there were all so freaking nice. Sadly, things didn't work out and now I live back in Michigan. I would totally move there, but I am now disabled and need to live near big hospitals due to ongoing medical issues. But if I had my wish, I would totally live in Vermont around the area you were in. I can't convey enough to people how magical it is there. That area around your cabin is perfect. I just stumbled on your video and it brought back so many good memories. Thank you so much for posting! 😎☮
