- In trying to post a wide variety of Chet's musical gamut, I thought you'd enjoy this tune which was a hit for Paul McCartney and Wings, once again proving that Chet was unlimited in what he could play on his instrument.

I'm going to tell my age on this one. I remember hearing this song played by Chet on an old 8-track in my fathers old Chevy pick-up truck in the 70's. I knew nothing of Paul McCartney and wings. I grew up listen to Chet and so many other finger pickers of that era (and yes, my father plays a lot like that).
lucky enough to discover chet recently. beautiful work.
I am a huge Chet fan. Also a huge Beatles fan and a huge McCartney fan…but this one is completely new to me! Thank goodness for YT.👏😀

No I don't, but it is Chet. Always perfect.K
is this really chet playing this?
Yes off of Country After All These Years. He also does a Blondie song on that album.
Of course, no one else can copy this man. K
You write as if you're surprised that Chet could actually be playing this. There's a reason Chet was held in such high esteem by both George Harrison and Paul McCartney. George gave Chet a compliment on the "Chet Atkins Picks on the Beatles" album. He said, hearing Chet made him wonder if many of their songs were actually written with Chet in mind.
Of course. I have the album.
