【ペルソナ6】PERSONA 6 VERGS OST III #15 - PURE HUMANITY (RYUZEN HOSHINO THEME)

Ryuzen Hoshino, the mastermind behind everything that has happened so far.
Here he sits on the golden throne looking at them from above. His golden hair shines, as his red eyes stay fixated on everyone. The Apple of Ouroborus within his hand, is carelessly tossed in the air as he watches his audience.
"Welcome VERGS….to the beginning of the end."
A smirk appears on his face as he effortlessly glides from his sit to a natural stance in front of them.
"Ryuzen..."The protagonist says. Everyone looks at him, ready at any moment to strike.
"I see you’ve all returned from the Shadow Realm” , he sneers ,” So how was it?"
"It was a wonderful little vacation, all thanks to you..." Yuuna says in a sarcastic manner.
"Heh...I'm glad to hear it. Perhaps a little time in the water benefits everyone. Isn’t that right Chiyo?"
Chiyo looks at him angrily, holding back her tears.
"You used me Ryuzen. The part of lucifer's soul you implanted in me, which was full of evil and malice, no longer controls me. I have people I can be close with, friendships, and real love now! I won't...be manipulated anymore!”
"Love…such a wonderful emotion. It’s the same love my father had for the world. Before it was taken from him. Chiyo...you must have felt it. The love he had for humanity….it almost laughable. You both truly were the perfect pair.”
Chiyo appears puzzled by this statement.
“Father?”
But wasting no time Yuuna interjects and shouts at Ryuzen.
"Cut the crap Ryuzen...This time, VERGS will strike you down!" Everyone pulls out their cards immediately, ready for the battle.
"Ah I see, so your here for revenge? It's been a long time since someone wanted me dead. I'd say maybe....1000 years."
"1000 years...what are you talking about?" Usagi says.
"I see. Then Jurojin didn't tell you the full story?" Ryuzen questions.
"Are you talking about Eris? We know the jist of it. That crazy lady been dead for a long time." Naomi says.
Ryuzen looks at the party solemly.
"You couldn’t be more wrong. She still lives, in fact, her entire essence or soul is what makes the Shadow Realm what it is. The entire ocean, the sea of shadows. The Shadow Realm is Eris.
Ryuzen looks at the protagonist.
"And then there is Eve, how long I’ve waited for my beloved. Eris had created her in her image, essentially being the mother of all human life."
The protagonist becomes conflicted with her identity.
"And then....the first human, Adam. Born from both Eris...and Lucifer."
Ryuzen holds his hands up, as the golden apple floats to the sky, shining brightly.
"The first human of mankind..that is who I really am. I am Adam.”
Power surges within Ryuzen, as his whole body emits a golden hue.
"Impossible..."Yuuna says, as everyone appears shocked at the revelation.
"I have lived on this planet for an eternity. But now the wait is over. I have finally obtained the Apple and with it, the means to finally rid the world of Eris!"
"What!" Everyone says confusingly.
"Yes, my true goal was never to attain the riches of man, or to live an abundant life. My goal was to purify all living things from Eris's grasp. That senseless emotion of need and want, the cravings of greed."
"Your lying! Jurojin's story clearly specified that the Adam had died. And even that was centuries ago! You can’t possibly be him!" Yuuna says.
“Oh but I am. And indeed I was killed off by one of Eris’s inhuman experiments, the shadow. But through the power of Gaia and the uniqueness of my own soul, I was revived into an immortal body, and blessed with special powers that allowed me to communicate to every living creature. After my revival Gaia, our planet, explained what had happened. How Eris abused the power of the apple, by repeatedly eating it, and had her body turned into a liquid mush of Orobian water and Shadows. Eris controlled Eve after my passing, enabling her to suck in a separate dimensions within the planet. But after zeros disappeared into the unknown, Eve was unknowingly left with a piece of Eris essence . And that essence spread throughout humanity, clouding each others hearts with greed and malice. Humans then became true monsters of Eris. War, poverty, ensalvement, political agendas, slander, adultery....murder. My brothers and sisters, my childen, they all were killing each other. And so I tried to ask Gaia for help, seeking for a way to dispel this disease Eris had left on the world. But she refused. No matter how greedy you fools were, how murderous, how unkind, how atrocious your actions were, Gaia always forgave you. Even when you stripped her of life, she still loved you all. But I could not. In the end, I was helped by the man Igor."
