SHAUN COULD BE GREAT PLAYER, I REMEMBER HIM ROOKIE SEASON HIS FIRST GAME AS AN POINT GUARD DUDE WAS TALL I SAID NO WAY HE IS PLAYMAKER. RESPECT FOR HIM, I KNOW U ARE ALLSTAR RATING, I DONT CARE WHAT PPL SAY.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow no Kobe story
I loved this interview, but I wish they would have talked more about his younger years at Concordia where he won 92 straight before losing his first game and the people in addition to his dad that helped him along the way such as Dr. and Mrs. June and their family, Mr and Mrs Thomas Ruppert ( his grade school coach and his wife who was Shauns kindergarten teacher) and Pastor and Mrs. Freudenburg who were also very important in influencing his life and his faith along his life. I honestly think that without all of them he would not be the man he is today.
😊😊
THIS MAN NEVER MISSED A MIDDY. ESPECIALLY IN THE PLAYOFFS!!

100% post up game was crazy . Easy buckets especially with my nets
Shaun Livingston is one of most genuine people in the league and so happy he bounced back after that devastating injury he had. Mad respect!
💯
Knee injuries. Those were crazy
5 years to overcome his injury! I totally I agree with him when he says that he deserves to be a champion.
One of the greatest mid range jump shooters of all of time he definitely underrated ‼️🤝🏾
def top 5 midrange
@@burburry.j5798 definitely 💯
Agreed 💯
In what way is he underrated? Everyone says he’s one of the greatest mid range shooter ever despite him not shooting that much and his best was when he was on stacked gs teams
@@justinholland6132 he is bro he not talked about enough that’s why I said that💯
I remember watching him with the warriors, and every single time he got the ball with his back to the defender in the mid range. You just KNEW that turn around jumper was coming and you KNEW that shit was money every single goddamn time. What an absolute killer 🔥
Shaun Livingston is actually my favorite NBA player. I am so happy about this interview. Great questions, too😊
He is my favorite as well, of couse I just may be biased as I have known him for about 30 years.
Sooo glad the warriors got him late in his career, never got to really appreciate how great of a player and person he was until that. Mad respect!
facts and even after the injury
The real mid range king
Top 5…..
rip hamilton all day!😊
My favorite player next to Iverson and MJ. Shaun don’t get the respect he deserves. Being apart of that late 2000’s Clippers team that took the Clips to the playoffs after a long time. He was the Clippers young gun before his injury. I watched and stayed updated on his recovery best I could back then. That’s back when you had to read to hear news cause social media wasn’t as active as it is now. Loved that he not only kept his leg by the grace of God, but he bounced back and got 4 rings. 3 as a player, and 1 as a executive. Well done Shaun, so happy and proud of you bruh. True definition of resilience 💯✊🏾!
mannn I'm so happy for Shaun with the kind of career he ended up having. epitome of a great, professional athlete.
When we talk about scoring in the midpost, he gotta be one of the greats
Livingston was so crucial to those Warriors teams because he had the size to switch and was so versatile. Warriors would run lineups with him, Andre, Dray, Klay, etc and it would have opposing offenses shook because they could all guard 1-4 with Dray sometimes guarding the 5. That gave Steph the freedom to roam off ball too as Livingston could handle the rock with great efficiency. Add in his leadership, deadly mid range, and consistency in the clutch…he’s one of the best role players of all time
As Bron fan his 20 pts. in game 1 of the 2016 finals pissed me off at that time. But then again my respect goes to him knowing what he did throughout his injury. One of the best story in NBA.
Being born and raised in Peoria, IL myself Dot broke it down perfectly. 😂 proud of my guy
One of the greatest stories in the game. As much of a juggernaut that era of Golden State looked, there were some real uphill battles internally.
I love how these guys stay in the track and sweatsuits. Worked their butts off and beat their bodies up for decades, now it’s time to be comfortable. It makes me smile to see dudes like Matt and Stak be able to stay involved in basketball like this.
P Town legend 💯
One of my favorite players of all time bro. Love this guy and his journey
The best mid-range shooter ever to me, he barely missed a shot. Definitely underrated, the best comeback injured player. Happy for you Shaun, you deserve all you got.
Extremely underrated and never given the keys. Wish I could have watched this dude really run a team from point.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview! It was nice hearing about Shaun's story.
SHAUNOMATIC ! Mid range was deadly with the turn around
A lot of people forget what he had to overcome with his injury
Facts and still was a pure bucket 🪣
Cool cat. Saw him out at Lake Merritt in Oakland crusing on his beach bike. I am proud of his accomplishments and never giving up when things got rough..
I always forget he went through that with his knee and almost got it amputated…I love what he did for us and what he meant for those championships I’m so happy for him
If Shaun didn't get hurt he would have been a perennial all star. P town stand up💪🏾
Dang I loved Shaun Livingston's game. Real hooper and played the game the right way!
The G.O.A.T of Peoria, IL basketball. 💯💯💯
very true.
It's about time. Good to get Shaun on and seeing him talk about our hometown. Us cats that grew up at the bottom of the hill on the south side appreciate him and we're all proud of him.
And if he's reading this, gonna have to apologize for convincing my homeboy to call bullshit travels on him during his games at the YWCA when he was 11.
Loved his game and no lie i never knew how good of a story teller he is, would love for him to start doing more in media
Damn I miss this man so much, wish he was still playing😩but I'm so happy he's apart of the front office now because they need someone like him to help bring up the young guys and help teach them about their winning culture and help with their development. Such a pleasure watching this interview and to add this man looks like he's never going to age, I feel like he will still look exactly like this in the next 10 years 🤷🏾♀😂😂THE MIDRANGE KING🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥❤
My high school teammate and my brother!! One the coolest people alive!! 💯💯#309
Shawn Livingston's mid range is sooooooo smoothhhhhh
Well mannered guy and a great speaker/motivator.
Something that use to bug me out about his game was how fast he'd elevate and throw it down for a two hand slam. Look forward to that book. This generation know how to tell stories man. Livingston definitely one of my favorite players. I use to be like "y'all see this? Am I the only one seeing this?!" Peace fellas on simply having a dope conversation worth the time listening to. Incredible work. Like a level up on journalism. This the truth, stories from primary sources. Everybody in the room a primary source.
S.L. one of da greatest comeback stories in all NBA history
THIS MAN IS JUST PURE BUCKETS
Seeing his comeback with my Nets was so awesome. So happy he got that chip and was damn valuable during that run.
Thanks for this interview. Love to hear my man’s story and learn how he returned after his injury. One of my favorite players!! Smart , talented but most of all humble ! The TRUE S DOT!!
Mad underrated
Nice to hear Jokic named as his best player in the league, also cool to see captain jack and matty b on the same page.
This the one I been waiting on ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite pg of all time, super smooth
Man I remember when he first got drafted my cousin was hyping him up so much which made me start
watching him closer. I started to see him develop on the clippers then that crazy injury happened. I was glad to see him bounce back and win a ring. Well deserved Shaun good interview!
Livingston is one of my favorite players to watch comeback and really get everything he deserved.
I remember the injury in real time. It made me sick to my stomach. Most everyone thought his career was over. It's incredible everything he's done since then. Incredible.
Great Interview With A Underrated Solid Player Shawn Livingston💯👍
One of the most gruesome sports injuries in history it has to be the best comeback story.
You said the title of your book right there
“If Not Me, Than Who?”
Man, I remember growing up in Peoria when he graduated a few years ahead of me. He was dominant in HS ball the last 2 years. Very rare for a HS kid to go top 5 in the draft. Special to see him play. Even more so to see him hit that mid range shot during the golden age of the Warriors.
Meeting u in the town was dope glad u still working wit the warriors doing well my nigga. Honorable dude fr
YESSIR DUB NATION WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU DID FOR US. Thank you Brother!!!
I love this guy.
Loved it when he came to the Nets. Awesome ball player.
Great episode!!! Thank you!!!
Was so nice with the Clipper pre injury !! I would stay up just to watch him. One of my favorite players. High socks Afro flow !!!
Legendary warrior 💪🏽
Very good guy. I am enjoying listening to Shaun's perspective. Great interview.
Amazing player. Amazing dude.
One of my favs 💯
Dope player, dope show!
One of that gnarliest injuries I've seen watching sports. Man came back and was an ISSUE! Midrange Master
I was listening to that game live on the radio, and when he collapsed on the court, his mouth must have been near a microphone because his scream sounded excruciating. The mic may have also picked up the gritty sound of his leg shattering too. He was already so skinny/slight when he was with the Clippers; everyone thought his playing days were over. I have mad respect for him.
I been hearing about this man since he was in high school and we 42 years old now let that sink in
Real shit time flies man
Shaun is only 37
@@tgltyty wtf no shit it’s the amount of years I’ve known about them , u got to be young and white
Thank you guys for this amazing show. You become my go to weed videos. I hope you continue this journey. I'm with you ❤
Grew up 30 min from Peoria and we play them 2x a year in basketball. I loved watching him play then when I was a kid. So happy for how his career ended up!
I had to pull for Mr. Livingston coming off of that severe injury. I'm glad things went very well for him!!!🏀🏀🏀💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤩🔝
Honestly the worst injury I seen on film. Kevin Ware’s leg during the tourney is second, Paul George’s leg on the stantion is third and Gordon Hayward’s foot and ankle being turned around was 4th. (Although it brought a legendary meme)
One of my top pg's of all times
That’s a champion talking😤
Klay Thompson needs to add Shaun’s midrange to his game.
I agree
1:10:12-1:11:12 Shaun Livingston says “you know” 100 times 😭😭😭
No never mind I’m realizing now the whole show he says it 1 million times 😂😂
Another banger!!
He took it back when he said Hoop Dreams, i remember Howard Nathan giving Arthur Agee and Marshall buckets
Forever legend! Big piece in gsw success
He has GM potential kudus Shawn I’m a fan how he bounced back after the horrid injury. Good dude vibe, energy
He speaks so well. He should use his voice more and become an announcer or something
My guys you never missed with the interviews really enjoyed watching this one. Big S/O to Shawn Livingston i used to be a big fan before he went to the warriors 😂 #midrangespecialist
Dope episode
Class act. Super star role player and professional
Live from the 309 Peoria Illinois Stand up .. still remover them wining state at central 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Our City’s Goat 3 time Champ !
His shot was as smooth as Griffey's swing!
I coached a team that played one of Shaun’s AAU teams. Illinois Fire or Warriors I think. He reminded you of a Magic, Penny type with a Tyshaun Prince body type. Silky Smooth with the rock!
Great episode
The best!
S DOT WAS NOOO JOKE BEFORE THE INJURY….. BLESSINGS KING
All i gotta say is fux yeah. Followed Shaun from when he was with the clippers. Great to see where he eventually went and where he is now.
Matt “Not To Cut You Off” Barnes 😂 salute to y’all
Loved his mid range game...cash every time...but I remember him before the injury... he's actually a point guard...Shaun actually had it on string and dropped dimes...I've always loved his game
Sdot, the real HOF Middy Magician
Peoria Illinois’ owns
💯
Lol “Miami nights” they all went into str8 memories lmao
Just shared this link with my people!

“Got smacked. By Orlando.”
“They swept us.”
😂
Incredible role model!
Glad he came on the show. I used to wonder about his mid range jumper. About 6'9, jumping and a kind of wrist motion with arm extended, now wonder it was getting in more often than not.
Central Illinois represent.
When matt say not to cut you off and say not to cut you off but..
😂💀
Man dude was legit!
“If Not Me Than Who” That’s should be the title of your book cause if you think about it it you witness everything from the the dynasty to Kd to the fall of it all than you you worked wit the team after so yeah gang that’s a good title🔥🔥
