- In this video, I take you on a quick tour of the Egypt Airlines Cairo Business Class Lounge, which is not much to see. Then I give you a review of our Red Eye flight from Cairo to Nairobi on their 737-800 sitting in Business Class.
I had heard a lot of bad about Egypt Airlines and during my three weeks in Egypt, I flew on them four different times and all flights were good. Maybe an interesting change. Watch the video and let me know what you think in the comments.

Nice review. It was really helpful and fair. Thanks!!!
I do try to be fair and balanced on my reviews and I appreciate you saying that. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment!
This was a very polite review. Thank you.
Thanks...trying to be totally honest. I had read many bad reviews on Egypt Air and was surprised how good my experiences were overall. Could be better in some areas, but I would fly them again if that was my only option. Thanks for the comment and watching!
Thank you very much for being generous and sharing your experience.
I'm taking a flight from Heathrow to Entebbe with a stopover in Cairo and looking at the reviews I was scared of the plane. But when I see your review I am already calmer.
I travel alone and it is my first time in those parts.
Thanks, again!
I was just in Entebbe a few weeks ago and flew there on Emirates from Rome. Emirates is a great one. Anyway, Egypt Air was okay and their planes seemed to be in good condition. I would not worry. Thanks for watching!
Great review Pat
Thanks for watching and glad you liked it. I will be posting another one on their A220-300 which was quite nice!
Nice. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
Are the seats flat bed or reclining
No flat bed....I wish it would have been on that Red Eye flight I took. A foot rest that came up and a little recline. Thanks for watching!
So from Cairo to Nairobi u stopped in Dar es Salaam? Is that not SE and off track of Nairobi? What’s going on m8, if I fly nonstop from London to Rome the plane does not stop in Athens… lol
Or from JFK to LAX the pilots can’t be like let’s go see Panama City Panama lol and not tell u and just fly to Central America if it is a nonstop flight? Was it booked as a one stop through Tanzania or was it medical and if so why stop past ur destination just to double back?
@@quasarsavage The reason for going there first is that Dar es Salaam is a “Hub” and it is among the busiest in the country. In our case we unloaded almost the entire aircraft and refilled it with passengers heading to our final destination. Bottom line is, the airline make more money going there first and leaving with a full aircraft. Here in the US we fly to Hub airports all the time which can be out of our way. I will be back in Africa in February and will be flying through Dar es Salaam again on Emirates. Hope that helps answer your question.
Is it a safe airline to travel to?
It's safety record is not that great but sometimes there are not a lot of options. You can do research on the internet and that will give you some answers. Thanks for watching!
