Very Enjoyable Flight ~ Not being familiar to the surroundings I looked it up via Google Earth. What a beautiful area. I imagine however that for GA & light commercial flights there definitely can be some very challenging conditions at times. Conditions not meant for the unwary or ill-prepared pilot. Were you riding shotgun?
Eric Lozen Thanks for watching the video! Southern California definitely has some beautiful areas to fly over with all of the mountainous terrain. Conditions can be a little tricky flying into big bear with the airport elevation around 8000 feet. One of the trickiest things about flying in SoCal are all of the different air spaces. There are so many little airports with airspace stacked below larger airspace of larger airports.
It's so quiet
For the most part. Because the landing gear doesn't retract, I'd say mostly wind noise when up at altitude. Overall a pretty nice ride.
