I love Gladys, i was watching the Ellen Show the very first time Ellen called her,i was laughing so hard i was in tears.I am glad to see that Ellen kept calling her.I am sure Gladys has a special place in peoples hearts especially Ellen and Portia's. @@heathercottrill3505 False she’s actually a real person and died 5 years ago unfortunately. Her family uploaded a CZcams video in memory of her. You can find it floating around CZcams recommended it to me and at first I didn’t know who it was until I read the comments and realized it was her :(

No Glady's did not pass away she was a made up voice by a DJ in Austin radio show. He made up that voice as a charector for his show. I believe the voice was Scott Hardy from KLBJ morning radio show who had done voice overs for some of Larry the Cable guys stuff.
So true! We need a Gladys update..the Thanksgiving Dressing that was talked about on the show was a recipe that actually belonged to “Mother Presley” a great church cook from Houston, TX. My baby sister shared Mother Presley’s recipe with me and I shared Mother Presley’s recipe with a co-worker who lived near Gladys....and that’s how it was eventually featured on the Ellen Show.
