Wow I drove so much on those roads. I lived and work in that area for many years. Those Seat cars with German soul seam to be really good!!

Thank you, Thomas! I've been a huge fan of the new Cupra brand since it's announcement in February and it's great to hear your thoughts on their first standalone car. I think it's a shame about the weak exhaust tone but hopefully an aftermarket solution will fix that.
Great review as always, just one minor thing the rear cup holders are adaptive :)

Excellent review, thank you. It has made my mind up to trade in my Leon Cupra for the Cupra Ateca: I get to keep the power and my wife gains the higher seating position.
A sporty SUV like this to me is like the ultimate up yours to nature.
