What are your thoughts on Lemonade Espresso? If you liked this video, you may enjoy: Polish Street Food Tour in Krakow! (czcams.com/video/IwT4ZXKWNSs/video.htmlsi=Mc2TPblMpWtwZor4 ) or Dutch McDonald's Menu Items in the Netherlands! (czcams.com/video/3dHzYA2nasw/video.htmlsi=yVSWdYJnUubiFOui )
Espresso tonic is a classic, someone went nuts with the lemonade variant
I've had it once but it's not in my kind. But few years ago they had something like coffee with vanilla ice cream (the standard McDonald's vanilla one) and that was the best coffee and dessert in one. After a while the ice cream been completely melted by hot coffee and the drink was ultra creamy and amazingly tasty. Gosh I hate McDonald's is no longer serving these.
That's a Heck No from me! YUK!!!
I don't know why they added this thing to the menu. This coffee is terrible.
hangover coffe !
"Sos" actually means "sauce" or "dip" in Polish, it has nothing to do with calling for help 😂
S.O.S iam out of sos 😂
Truly Polish sandwiches would be WiesMac (Farmer's burger), which you can buy anytime and Burger Drwala (Lumberjack's burger), which is available during winter time and got back to the Mc this week. Both are worth it!
wieśmac is not so much Polish,, they just change the name, other than that you can find it in may places
Drwal jest w różnych krajach Europy. To nie Polski burger.
polski, dopiero teraz dodali w Czechac czy gdzies@@bazej5202
@@ashCKMbullshit. WieśMac is Polish. Horseradish sauce is only at McD Poland. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Morning sandwich with tworog, radish and some grass was the best 😎
If you are still in Poland at 15th november you gotta try "Burger Drwala" "Lumberjack burger" it has become pretty iconic here, it is only available late fall and throughout winter, definetely worth trying
'da swidanija' is a russian word, not polish word. In Polish you should say "Do widzenia"
Easy mistake, they travel a lot
Jak Polak słyszy do zdridawia ,to go od razu bierze nerw 😶 John
Nah, true they’re not too clever.
@@jonasfusniak920not really.
But arrivedeeci.
I really enjoyed the Poland series. Thank you for taking us there! ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻✌🏻
I guess the most Polish thing in the Mcdonalds menu is kanapka Drwala, but this comes only in winter time. It's a burger with a beef patty, a breaded cheese, bacon, and fried onions, now also with cranberry sauce. This is loved by many Polish people.
BOB DYLAN! That guy in the corner is THE Bob Dylan! 😁
You know Phil - Bob Dylan the obscure American singer 😂
yeah totally not known 😂🤣
Fun fact! The Maestro burger is a Dutch McDonald's invention, but was discontinued at some point. There's a popular introduction video where an orchestra surprises customers. The video can obviously be found on CZcams, and it is pretty fun to watch! Good to see Poland still has the Maestro burger, though. We miss it here in the NL. 😂
Orange espresso is getting more and more popular in Poland (this year was served everywhere!) My first try was like "ok it's not my favorite" but now I'm addicted. You should probably try it in a specialty coffee shop (in Kraków e.g. Tociekawa, Emigrant) rather than McDonald's. Orange espresso is my favourite, much better than lemonade or tonic one. It has also a winter variation "Jaffa" or "Delicja" served hot and together with chocolate inside
Never heard of it until this video and this comment. Might give it a try sometime!
I hate it, for me it tastes like liquid puke. :p
Come on Deanna & Phil....the fifth artist is Bob Dylan and the Lips with tongue the Rolling Stones logo. Hahaha Cheers you two.
Bob Dylan Picture.
Needs a tomato on the Maestro burger. Cancels dryness.
They used to have added red beets and eggs on the Australian Breakfast Burger King Whopper.
The guy in the top left wall of your hotel room is Bob Dylan. Good review and enjoying your polish reviews!
The guy in the corner would be Bob Dylan. A somewhat famous singer-songwriter.
why did you said goodbye in russian at 13:20? :D in Poland we say "do widzenia" not "da swidania"
are you serious? should they pronounce words like Poles? say some words in the American accent, surely You wouldn't be able to do so
@@taryakimatiYou obviously don't understand the political context...
@@taryakimati no, nobody expect them to do so, it's just two different sounding words and two different languages. +political context

A tone-deaf person here… probably one of the most uninformed as well…🤔
Great to see you guys in Poland! P.s Dasvidaniya is Russian - Dovidzenia is Polish. Made that mistake myself, the first time I was there :)
solongsofa,
I was thinking to myself do Polish people speak Russian, thanks for clearing that up. Cheers
To be exact it's Dowidzenia with W not V ;)
@@jakubgregorowicz6002 ..but in English v is spoken like Polish W
@@Miko80ok, i see your point
Exactly! Using Russian word instead of Polish, especially, now was a huge faux pas
I think that guy is Bob Dylan
I was thinking it was Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones
I agree, it looked like Dylan...
It looks like Bob Dylan to me too.
@@natacharicher But definitely a young Dylan...
It is Dylan
Hey! This in not a comment about this particular video, but in general, I enjoy your vibe in your videos,
I watch several "couples try food" channels, but with you I feel like you would do this anyway, even without CZcams, Your chemistry looks genuine. Love watching it!
I am not a fan of McD or any other big fast food chain but it is always interesting to see the varieties in different countries. I never had lemonade with espresso but one of the few ways I drink coffee is espresso tonic (or espresso gin tonic - even better). Hugs to Deanny & Phil. Liebe Grüße aus Wiesbaden 🖤🖤
lol the orange coffee is also famous in Bangkok. I love it! It is refreshing in the hot weather.
I don't know what's more strange. Polish food or that you don't know who Bob Dylan is.
They propably know who he is, just not how he looks.
jesus, the guy in the corner is Bob Dylan
For real? The dude in the corner? That's Bob Dylan! 🙂
I have a feeling Phil is a millennial 🤐😁
Exactly! Amazing what these youngsters don't know! They're missing out...
The music rage was real after that one! 😂
That Maestro burger looked great! Love the huge pickles. McCafe originated here in Australia and the Polish store layout looks the same. We don't have the expresso lemonade though.
As a fellow Polish person i am happy
No "Do swidania"!!! This is Russian language. Polish is "Do widzenia"
SOS is sauce in Polish, pronounced almost the same.
4:03 The chicken wrap looks nice and thick and full of fresh ingredients. Also looks like something you’d find from a sit down cafe or restaurant and not a McDonald’s.
2:17 that is seriously the best looking McDonald’s hamburger I’ve ever seen, no joke. That looks like a sit down restaurant hamburger!
Bob Dylan in the corner? The McD food in Poland looks better than any McD in Northern Cali which generally equals to a solid barf!!! Great video as always!!!
Looked like Bob Dylan to me.
A great video, as always. Just a little FYI, guys... what you ate was a macaron, one O, which comes from France. A macaroon is an entirely different kind of cookie, which has toasted coconut on top, and I think was originated in the US.
Hi! I never seen this citrus-esspresso liquid. It must be something new but it also looks crazy weird for me too... And I'm sure that it isn't polish typical drink. But I visiting the McDonald only during the traveling or if there is nothing more healthy around...
About that espresso thing we have these in US restaurants(expensive one) so there is like a cup and lime on the side so you have to put the lime around the cup so it gives you little tropical zest👍
You can even see it in this movie social network when they are in restauran which Sean Parker 👍
Have to say the Polish version of McDoanlds is better than the US for sure. Can't imagine lemonade with coffee, Orange maybe, but lemonade no way, lol. Great job
Deana and Phil, thanks for taking us along.
European Mcdonald is better than American Mcdonald, everyone knows that.
Their Mc Cafe coffee is actually really good there…☕️
0:49 Bob Dylan!
We drink coffee with lemon to cure hangovers in Poland 😂
Espresso with orange juice sounds like an efficient morning beverage. 👍
suprised you don´t know "Bob Dylan" (the guy in the corner)
The guy in the corner is Bob Dylan.
I had no intention of eating a meal from an American fast food chain when I visit my brother and sister-in-law in Poland next year, but I might just have to see if they have the Maestro burger available when I’m there, because that looked delicious!
They never heard of Google image search...😂
@@RandysBierblog Them not knowing who Bob Dylan was made me feel really old 🤣
@@brandirienecker8988 Well, they don't know music and don't understand beers too. 🤣 Its not an age thing, I'm 33.
@@RandysBierblog My 20 year old son knows who Bob Dylan is; but, to be fair, we live in Minnesota, where Bob Dylan is from, and my son has been a musician since he was 8 years old. It’s nice to see another younger person who is familiar with Bob Dylan!
@@brandirienecker8988 Thats nice! But he truly is an icon! I'm from the Netherlands and hes popular here too. ❤️
Bob Dylan,Madonna,David Bowie,Elton John, and the lips logo is the Rolling Stones. They are actually macarons, not macaroons. I have decided to go to Krakow for Christmas this year so your food videos are so impressive to me. Thank you and good luck.
That was fun. Nice work...
I didn't drink it in Poland, but coffee with orange or lemon helps with headaches. In my opinion, it is distasteful, but it helps. 2 for U is a good budget version for a woman like me. Greetings from Wrocław
Well hello Phil, that guy on the left is Bob Dylan! How can you not recognize that legend?
I have seen this coffees in cafés and they seemed strange to me. Even saw one with Sprite. Never tried one though, too scared 🤣
Espresso and lemonade is a new thing, I've heard also about version with juice or sprite... I have never tried it, but it is a refreshing version of summer coffee, and I guess it came from Stumptown Coffee Roasters in 2018, so it is not a Polish thing, and I saw it in Spain, also in a regular cafeteria.
The person you didn't recognize on your hotel room wall was Bob Dylan....In case you were curious! 🙂
I never tried a lemonade coffee, but I do sometimes add lemon juice to my coffee, however, it is usually when I'm hangover ;D
You must try the "Drwal" sandwich at McDonald's, it is available only in Poland in winter.
In Czech Republic its "Cheese king" and there is only cheese and bun and salad - Smazak or similar name. So.. not only
@@sebolek1222 but does the "Cheese king" have bacon, lettuce, fried cheese cutlet and beef cutlet? If so, then yes, it is a classic Drwal sandwich.
Wrong. It is available in more European countries 🤷♂️
@@DeKesas yup. It's the same thing in another country. Write in Google "cheese king smazak" and you will see
Hehehe you also have to try something I haven't seen anywhere else in the country "kisiel" and budyń and chrzan (sandwich topping) and ćwikłę

Should've tried lumberjack burger, it came back novembet 8th, it's seasonal offer that appears every winter in Poland
We HAD the Maestro burger here in the Netherlands some time ago. They took it off the menu, So now we're left with Big Tasty (which is pretty good btw), the Quarter pounder (very very not good) and the Big Mac (sucks BIG time).
I loved the Maestro burger, because it had a patty, rucola salad, cheese, bacon and truffle mayonaise! One of the best burgers ever!
It was invented by the Dutch branche of McDonald's. Weird they took it off the menu. It was without a doubt their freshest and most tasty burger.
we in the netherlands also had the maestro burger a while back
The espresso with lemonade is something new. I don't remember seeing or drinking when I was growing up THERE. McDonald's was always expensive and is still so expensive comparing to US.
The guy in the corner on the wall is Bob Dylan :)
Looks like Al Pacino from Scarface in the top corner painting
In Canada we have habanero mayo mcchicken. Sometimes sriracha or ghost pepper mayo once a year
Deana said thank you correctly at the end of the vlog, but Phil made a mistake and said goodbye in Russian. Poles really don't like being confused with Russia
Potwierdzam
Espresso tonic is my favorite summer coffee!!
That's Bob Dylan,Phil....👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
you can get the syracha mayo sauce at pretty much every asia store and i put in on a LOT of things.... so good! ;)
I don't know about Poland, but MacDonald's would normally contract with an established patisserie for fresh cakes donuts and macarons. Macarons do travel well though, chilled French-made macarons are sold globally.
We have the macaroons here in Maccy d’s in the Netherlands, love them 😊
FYI - I would say the "guy in the corner" is Bob Dylan - famous musician from the 60-70's
the guy in the corner is Bob Dylan!
We have that sciracha mayo in our Texas refrigerator because we’re a bit in love with it.
Cool series! Could you do France or Portugal and go to Grenoble maybe?
The guy You didn't recognise on poster is Bob Dylan ;)
So you don't know who the guy in the corner is? Well, here's a hint. He's the only music superstar on the wall who's been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature
Robert Zimmerman is crying. Like the video. You guys do great stuff.
Nice food review… Thanks
You should try maccies breakfast menu in Poland if you wanna try 'wierdest' polish mcd's menu.
I love pistachio I had the absolute best pistachio cheesecake in Rehoboth Beach Delaware years back at a gourmet restaurant.
Bob Geldof
The Maestro Grand Classic we had this Burger also on the Mcdonalds' menu some years ago.
Traveling through Germany and Poland we found out that the McDonalds in Poland has a better menu and better quality food but i miss the very nice apple and cherry pie that Germany has
Wrong Bob. That’s a young Bob Dylan in that photo.
I do always add this Sriracha mayo in breakfast wraps.
As a pole ive never seen someone order a lemon espresso in a polish mcdonalds nor my parents my sister and i
There's nothing better than sourdough bread. I personally either make a wholemeal sourdough from a scratch or by in my local shop. The bread is made of just 5 ingredients. It is literally the way my mother and her mother did.
sourdough+wholemeal flour, water, himalayan salt( rich in minerals), fresh yeast (can be done without)... No chance to get 30+ ingredients that you find in white bread-like product such as toast bread. wholemeal also means loaded with fiber, vitamins B, minerals used to digest protein and starch that rye or wheat contain rather then constantly robbing them from bones and teeth in order to break down these proteins and starch.let alone other E - something compounds...
By the way black coffee wrh freshly squeezed lemon or lime is known as a bohemian coffee that many find helpful in alleviating hangovers and withdrawals such as: shakes, fatigue. If ginger is added and cinnamon it is also helpful for nausea, indigestion ;)
So mc donald iced coffee with juice can be used as a day after beverage.
coffee is brewed specifically to reduce 'acidity', why they would add something acidic is beyond me.
The netherlands used to have the first 2 aswell.. :)
When I less and less frequently have McD's, I always eat the fries first before they get cold!
And in the corner we have, born in Duluth Minnesota, one of the greates songwriters of the 20th century, Bob Dylan!😁
that is the great Bob Dylan
Hello im form Poland, and have never drank lemonade espresso seems gross, but the best mcdonalds burger will probably be "Kanapka Drwala" it is seasonal appears every winter, this year it is available only since 2 days ago so if ya could go again and try that would probably beat "Maestro burgers" tbh gl hf !
That would be Bob Dylan guys.
Guy in corner 😂😂 Bob Dylan
The guy in the corner of your room is Bob Dylan.
You can buy sriracha mayo sauce in every Biedronka market in Poland (unless they're out of stock ofc), but frankly... I prefer the plain sriracha much better!
P.S.I: I don't like McDonald's at all, either in Poland or in Canada (where i''ve tried it) it's not for me!
P.S.II: Never, ever goodbye Poles saying "dasvidanya"! Just a lil surviving tip! ; ] NEVER DO THIS AGAIN (in your next vid I want to hear from you: "MEA CULPA, I will never ever again goodbye you, the Poles, with "dasvidanya" again! [j/k ofc!. Well... partly])! :)

Did you try the strawberry sundae that is made with strawberry ice cream?
The French Royale with cheese beurgair is also pretty nice. Le royale avec fromage.
Try Burger Drwala (Lumberjack). This is the only one designed for the Polish market.
Huh, right after watching this, I watched your Dutch candy video, suggested by the CZcams algorithm. And in that one you also say "Lady the Tramp".
For a second there I thought Deanna was going to give Phil a karate chop over that macaron. 🤣
The McCrispy is in germany now too. Since some weeks already...
You should try scramble egg wraps they are awesome
Imho best set is cottage cheese mcmuffin + scrambled eggs mushrooms bacon wrap.
Once I tried hash browns - do not recommend. Greasy and tasteless
A quarter pounder and fries with the frites sauce they only sell in the Netherlands yumyum. I love their chicken tenders.
Did you have a language preference on your menu? It was all in English. Thanks for the video! I wish US McDonalds would offer more items that other countries get, or at least keep the nasty McRib on the menu. Haha!
i realy like the morning menu with mcdonald farmerski burger it has a mustard and horseradish sos on it 10/10 would do it again
Coffee with lemon is not a popular drink in Poland. I saw it for the first time this year, and I also believe it's a bad combination. However, when it comes to McDonald's, I think it's the best in the world in Poland. I've had McDonald's in nearly 20 countries, and none compare in taste to the Polish one. The worst is probably in the UK; not without reason, it's the cheapest fast food there :D When it comes to McDonald's food itself, you have to eat it right after ordering because it quickly loses temperature, making it less enjoyable, just like what happened with the fries. When they're freshly made, they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If they sit for a while, they become all soft and lose their charm :D By the way, if you're still in Poland, I recommend going back to McDonald's to try the 'kanapka drwala.' It's a seasonal position, so you can only get it for a short time, and I think it appeared on the menu about a week ago.
Apparently, Mc Donalds in France also have macaroons. I think it was Jolly who did a review on their macaroons.
As for fastfood joints in the USA, some CZcamsrs have given me the general impression that most fast food franchises/chains just aren't as good. But these CZcamsrs usually have fairly high standards where it comes to flavour, texture, balance etc. And some general items just aren't very good.
It might also be that the food quality outside of the US is higher? I've been to the US quite a few times and even the steaks weren't as great as some of the steaks I've eaten throughout Europe. The food was always the thing that disappointed me when I travelled the US. And not only in fast food places but in regular diners and even in some Michelin quality restaurants... It's weird since the US is the country of steaks and burgers IMHO.
@@Bralo20 I don't know why standards seem to be different. Laws and regulations regarding food quality perhaps?
True, also more desserts
@@TheRealTMar All about driving cost down and quality with it. American mass market beer anyone?
