There are so many roasteries which do engage with the farmers. So many specialty roasters put "farmers first" and are happy to charge higher and pay the farmers more.
This was more of an advertisement play than anything else.
It’s not often I find myself shouting at the screen ‘Oh no what are they doing!!’
To even get a chance at investment from this team but to throw it away??? Crazy. Just crazy. They will unfortunately regret that big time
Can’t believe they rejected Peter over 5%😮😭
They don't have too much sales and they say no to Peter Jones over 5%? Bet they're kicking themselves now.
Bad move lol they should’ve said yes immediately. 75% of a 5 million is a lot more than 100% of 100,000 lol
It’s so quiet without the overly-dramatic background music
man it's better than the uber dramatic shark tank music. Barely a quiet moment on that show
Fair play, build the business organically and make yourself a decent living. Never going to be huge so having a investor take 25% is probably not the way to go.
Free publicity boost and sales through dragons den and the best part is it cost them nothing. These cats are smart.
She looks like his grandmother.
I don’t like this felt like a group project on marketing class
The dude just isn't smart. He could have had a better deal. I mean, isn't she like 20 years older than him?
the irony here is that Stephen and Peter talk about Wilma being yet the brand, yet Elle talks all over him. She does not think enough of him, and its holding the business back.
lol 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Yeah...crypto is the missing ingredient. Get your farmers trackable and traceable in real time with the coffee details and give out airdrops for early adopters. Mass adoption is possible through decentralized social media...I'll buy your coffee right now if you incentivize us ❤
