Hello doctor, can you help me with something? On my head CT patient protocol page siemens 16 sensation, I see values for mas and kvp for the topogram, and kvp, mas, ctdivol, and DLP for the "base." The total DLP value is also the same. On the internet, I see headings for head and topogram. I understand it as head = cere + base, so the fact that only "base" is written raises questions. Is it machine-related, or has the cere not been included in the imaging values? Despite "base" being written, can the total DLP and ctdivol be for the entire scan? Is there a report given as base+cere? what is the difference of base and head difference or same in the protocol? Thanks

Hi Doctor could you please help me, Iam 32 I got cranial ct scan with siemens 16 My total mAs value is 4751 total DLP:927 Ctdivol 51.52 xray tube current :460 (I think fix value) exposure time 500 . Doctor, total mAs value isn't it so high? I am seeing this value on my patient protocol page, I dont have dose report page so it means I may have get more DLP and mAs? Patients protocol page time is before than scan time. is it normal? If I had Dose report page it would be more accurate because it shows value after ct scan procesure?
