Arsenal dropping out of the UCL and title race is blessing in disguise, now they can focus on next season's preseason fixtures!
Arsenal are very much still in the title race, as are Liverpool

I’m an Arsenal fan and I fully agree😂
Arsenal fans are just as bad as Manchester United fans 😂! What makes them think that arsenal should beat Bayern Munich in Europe, considering where they were a few years ago
Just as bad? How many European trophies do Arsenal have? How many for Utd?
Arsenal is Spurs lvl, not Utd. No comparison.
They should if they call themself a big club. Otherwise I dont see the point of this club to exist.
United fans have seen their club win the league 20 times prem 13 an 3 champs league, how many arsenal got?? Don't compare arsenal to man united softlad
Well said
This sounds really stupid
Am I the only arsenal fan with a brain and some thinking behind how far We have involved under Arteta. These fools are just nonsense. Arteta keep moving forward with this young squad and just add more fire power and we will win the league and go further in champions leauge. Rember Arteta is young and amazing ❤❤❤
Agree, but the media always loves showing the most deluded unstable people because it brings in more clicks
It’s the effect of a microwave generation. There’s a significant growth since he’s been there. Other managers have spent tons of money without much progress.
Just imagine if Arteta was english like Potter was at Chelsea, what the reaction would be. It seems that there is unlimited patience and funds for any foreign manager in the premier league.
You people that talk about how Arteta has taken us this far are part of the reason we're in this mess in the first place. How many chances will it take for people to realise this man won't do it. Whilst we were down at one point and he's raised the profile, this is as far he's taken us. He needs to go now.
Xabi Alsonso did not need these excuses and won the league
Idk why Arsenal fans feel they are so entitled and their team is so brilliant.
They needed this humbling

20years of failure, we moved from our home at highbury sold Henry viera fabregas van Persia and all our good player , we were lied to for years that we went to Emirates to challenge Bayern and Madrid but we ha e had 20years of pain
Why sign an inexperienced manager now we get burned because I these big games we needed a real striker not havertz , a real attacking mid not Fabio ,700+ million spent on rubbish
We are close but he is so arrogant he takes of odeguard against villa and georginho tonight when they are playing well just to move havertz his pet into midfield were he has failed all year
Enough is enough and close enough is not good enough
Only idiotic fans feel entitled. Winning the CL takes experience and a few heartbreaking losses to learn. Same goes for the EPL. City took 6-7 years under Pep to win the CL. Liverpool lost the EPL twice to City by only 1pt. Teams grow stronger with experience and maturity.

Out of curiosity how is it emotional reaction that he’s been in charge for 5 years and only has FA cup to show for it? He doesn’t even bother competing for FA cups or league cups because he wants to “focus” on premier league or champions league. It’s poor. He got out coached by Tuchel.

@@Adam-ui4ef if that is what you think is best. At this stage he is pretty much same level same as Pochettino. Took a club out of being a banter club and made them compete. I wouldn’t put him same level as Klopp or Pep.
@@Dakay22 Klopp is not on the same level as Guardiola either. He's got 5 trophies in 9 years at Liverpool, better than Arteta, but not that impressive.
I can't recall any team that has been absent from the Champion's League for as long as Arsenal have and then gone on to win it or even reach the final - even Spurs had been in and out of it for several seasons before reaching the final.
Not an Arsenal fan, but they're following a good trajectory, even if they end up finishing 3rd this season because they've been in the thick of the title race for two seasons in a row. They didn't have to play in Europe last season, so they've had a massive increase in their workload and they've essentially maintained the standards set last season which in itself is a positive development.
It's still a young squad overall, so they need to build their experience in these kind of prestige fixtures, similar to how they've progressed in the league. Maybe Arteta can't push them to become winners, but I think it's a bit premature to make that call considering that he's still in his managerial infancy 🤷 If they backslide next season then maybe that's when it's time to part ways, but I'd still be viewing this season positively in terms of a long term trajectory or plan.
Is this that crazy Tottenham fan from AFTV in disguise 🤣🤣
Least spurs got too the final😅

Arteta is doing an amazing job at Arsenal. Quarters of UCL is a good achievement on their first year back. What happened tonight was that tuchel got it tactically better. I actually think , had Bayern scored early arsenal may have had to unleash themselves and may have got a better result. The longer it stayed level , the more cagey arsenal got
Arteta is doing an amazing job? How many finals did he get us to in 5 years? Mikel "next season is our season" Arteta. Bottlejobs

I honestly think football fandom has turned into a pathetic maelstrom of drama. Fueled by Social Media, it's either an over-abundance joy (usually in an hysterical scream), or a complete and utter disaster married with a "sack the manager" or "sack the board". It's pathetic how childish it has all become.
One team, and one only, can win the PL each season. That means 19 miss out. Arsenal, who I don't like, have done really well to go from last season to the quarters. The CL demands excellence at all times, and they've come up short this term. The fans should have enjoyed the ride though. But their season is a long way from being a disaster, and Arteta has brought about a high standard which he's maintaining overall.
I'm a Chelsea fan, and my team has been criminally poor over the last couple seasons. I still love the club, and I pray they win every game. This rarely happens, so I get behind the boys and we go again. The hysterical nature of internet fandom is a horrendous development that's turning men into petulant children. All for clicks.
This is the 2nd yr he’s had a team he’s wanted. In both years he’s challenged for the PL and some cry baby wants him out.
He spent 700 million since he arrived, what are you talking about? And if these are the players he wanted, then we are f....d
@@stefan5730 Chelsea just spent close to a billion, Everton have spent themselves to point deduction. Saying you want him out is like you’re saying there no progress. In the last decade, United have spent but haven’t won the league either.
@@jeffreywilliams6967 We are lucky now that United and Chelsea are in shambles. Just watch us fail if they begin to even remotely play as before. Arteta has made some progress yes but for a while now there is progress at all just stagnation.

@@stefan5730😂 I don’t even think your an Arsenal fan. Stagnation was the last 5 years under Wenger.
It's the first time arsenal have been in this stage of the competition in years. And they lacked experience. The team is still learning .
That was some game management by Madrid in the final 15 minutes of extra time. Madrid players dropping like flys with alleged cramp running the clock down and the ref only added a minute. Must have had a plane to catch or something.
97m on two players we didn't need in Havertz and Raya! When we needed a striker!
You don't seem to understand how football works any more. It's about building a squad (Havertz & Raya have improved the squad) & wages not just transfer fees. City pay twice as much as any other club. Understand now why City sign better players??? Rice signing for Arsenal not City is testament to the great job Arteta is doing. He could have earned more at City.
How many managers other than Pep & Klopp (once) have won the EPL in England in the last 8 years? Answer: 2.
Haha the sad fiddle at the end 😂
Old man said " How dare they "..😊
Cundy “he’s won the facup” when are people going to stop living on that train with Arteta? He won an facup in 2020
What’s he won since?
We’ve bottled everything we’ve been in
And this season looks like yet another example
Didn’t rotate the team all season and now they’re exhausted and run into the ground.
This arsenal team really aren,t far away. As a Liverpool fan ive never feared playing em as much as these last 2 seasons.
Cundy looks like he just wokeup and come to work with washing himself 😅
Arteta a bit unexperienced with dealing with the last 1/4 of the season. That 3 seasons in a row where we either had the title in our hands or a Champions league place and we've flopped it in the last 10 games. The fact that we even challenged for the title after getting into the Champions league for the 1st time in years is very good. Most teams stuff both league and UCL up when trying to manage both- e.g. Newcastle and Tottenham. Next season we'll strengthen and surely it will be finally our time.
Its not even that were out its that we went out with a whimper, can't remember neur making a save
Why did Kai Havertz played 90 min? He barely touched the ball and was missing for most period, he didn't scare defenders at all. The same was on the weekend when they played against Astonvilla, Kai was not there. The only player I would keep even if he is tired or not at best level is Martin Odegaard otherwise even Saka should have been substituted. Another thing is it is better to keep midfield players because it helps to controll and distribute the ball. Arteta just missing experience and it might take long time until he wins the league with Arsenal. If Arsenal wants to win trophy they have to bring experienced coach with trophies.
That’s harsh folks!!! 😂😂😂
I totally agree with him arteta comes to press conference and says their will be a fight and the team passed the whole game without a fight
He must leave
With this kind of fans, the club will almost certainly be in never ending downward spiral
Spurs haven't won an FA Cup in 34 years or a league title in 64 years.
This week is exactly why arsenal fans got criticised so much for over celebrating 🙌
Absolutely brilliant
Hard to believe that some fans think this way. Arteta has turned arsenal into a very very good football team but to win in Europe takes time for players to gain experience. Look how long it took City.
No excuse, even in the first leg we were lucky. We only started playing when Gnabry and Sane came off they were destroying us .
That’s not what most remember about that game, it’s like the Wilshere Barca game, when the Gooners were played off the park for the first 70 min
It’s funny when fans say “if we took our chances, we would have won”
Like yeah, that’s how football works.
Arsenal have been very impressive this season and Arteta has developed a serious footballing side.. and I'm a City fan
Spot on
We have come a long way!! We were being hammered by them not that long ago. Now we lose by one average goal. There is progress lads
We’ve gassed up Saka, rightfully so, as in the last 3 season I think him and salah have had the best stats. He’s been great since the 300,000 a week contract but he needs this criticism to be the player we want him to be.
First year back in CL, we reach the quarter finals, and this guy wants him out?
These Arseanl fans needs a spanking.
Such an idiotic fan
With the money spent and his tactics Hell yes
700 mln spent, 4 years trophyless, we won more stuff in Banter era with x10 worse players. Its a failure. There is no difference between place 2nd and 17.
Arsenal have spent a billion now.
On klopps first two years he got them to the final
Exactly Cundy you thought we would win and we didn't. Sack his ass as soon as Don Carlo is available.
Bayern Munich's experience proved too much for Arsenal fans who had been arrogantly claiming victory all week. They were quickly silenced by the superior team.
They remind me of England fans ahead of the Euros final
Instead of saying Arteta out, it is better to say sign quality strikers and defenders!

don't know why Cindy was happy that they got knocked out. Spurs best chance of getting champions league was if Arsenal got through
Callers right . Nearly 5 years in charge and only a Mickey Mouse cup to shoe for it
This is why I have to think twice about being an arsenal fan arteta has been phanomal this season as a manger has 2 bad games and now the fan base want him out its ridiculous🙄
" I dont know who we would bring out but I want him gone" lmao this guy is insane..
These are the type of stages where you English fan will realize that Saka isnt World Class 😂😂😂
Arsenal supporters are so entitled. Arteta has produced the best Arsenal team in 2 decades and they want to sack him. Bunch of entitled boo boys who leave the ground early if things aren't going their way.
There are an element that fit that profile. But the vast majority are fully behind Arteta and the players. All any Arsenal fan wanted was for us to be competitive again and play in big games. We have that now. For two seasons we have gone toe to toe with a team facing 115 financial breaches while building our team within FFP rules. Klopp has tried to finish above them in 9 seasons & has only done so once, that's how easy it is. Arsenal are building still, the progress is clear to see. They are still competing for the PL Title & will do for years to come.
He's also spent the most in the last 3 decades
The best Arsenal team in decades couldn't beat the worst Bayern team in decades. Pathetic!
Xabi Alonso and Xavi said F the process i am winning now. Arteta has more excuses made for him than anyone.
He wants him gone but has NOBODY even a suggestion as a replacement 😒
Josh should support Mcity......that way he will feel like he is winning every season. What a dumb fan.
So Arteta really spent nearly 700 million on City and Chelsea rejects and created a Walmart version of Man City.
Better watch cause he tries to copy liverpools attack 😂
Hardly when City and Liverpool haven't beaten Arsenal this season. And City also exited the CL in the quarterfinals. FYI, it's 584m spent. Do some research
To be fair to Arteta, he’s made Arsenal competitive and he’s helped to rejuvenate the entire club. They’re also competing against a state owned club for the title, one of the best coaches of his generation in Klopp and they’ve been knocked out of the Champions League by one of the best clubs in the world. I mean, yeah, sack him like you probably asked for Emery to be sacked and then see where you are next season.
The disrespect for bayern is insane just because they will be 2nd behind leverkusen who would be 6 points clear at the top of premier league with 3 games less played. If bayern win their 3 games in comparison to pl teams they will have more points than arsenal and liverpool with same amount of games
You clearly don’t watch football
Arteta flopped but that is part of building experience, not happy but we have honestly moved forward from the rut we were in
Well, I guess the prayers worked for Bayern 😂😂
As soon as Arsenal find a suitable No9 Alexander Isak would be ideal a new defensive midfielder Zubemendi I like don’t forget we Have Timber to come back that will be like a new signing for us he is a very good defender Timber aswell I’m still 50/50 with the keeper situation I personally would give Ramsdale another season as No1 it’s down to him then to take his chance but a striker is priority at Arsenal the likes of Elneny Jorghino Partey Tavares Nketiah should be sold even Zinchenko should go to be honest I’d rather Tierney or Kiwour at LB get Smith-Rowe fully fit and flying for next season and give Fabio Vieria more game time aswell we have plenty of attacking options with Saka Martinelli Trossard Jesus we just need a deadly finisher 💯 Isak if not him Vlavohic of juventus ❤
I'm very happy with Arteta. We are finally competing again regardless of the results. Onwards and upwards. Roll on next season,
Even if Arsenal beat BM, there’s no way they were getting passed Real Madrid. The way they defended today shows their the favourites no doubt.
Haaland and de bruyne requested to be taken off.
Arteta doesnt have a plan B, a change of style or formation midgame to catch the other team offguard.
A decent side with a good organization can shut down this arsenal quite easily, Arsenal lack killers in front of goal and even with more experience will most likely keep failing
I don’t know what the players are doing in training. There is no footballing identity at the club, we just play blind crosses into the box, it’s very boring to watch.
Glad City lost... wouldbe a mockery if they did the treble 2 seasons in a row
Last time Arsenal had a proper striker was Van Persie
FGS heard it all, had some bloke wanting Farke sacked from Leeds on the other day. Fickle knee jerk reactions 😂
700 mil and they set up to just try keep a clean sheet. Arsenal have been found wanting.

I wonder who they think can replace Arteta? There aren't many world-class managers out there, and there are teams with better pull such as Bayern who are also looking for a world-class manager. How many seasons did it take Pep to win the UEFA with City? Arteta will come good
Pep won the premier league every single season before winning the champions league and you compare that with Arteta😂
Many Arsenal fans particularly AFTV numpties haven't got a clue.
Man City have a core squad of 18 or 19 top players that Pep can rotate with almost no drop in level. Arteta can only really rely on 11 or 12 players. As a result some players like Saka, Odegaard & Martinelli are playing too many games. Some Arsenal fans just like some papers are nonsensical to even think about sacking their manager (because he hasn't won a trophy apart from FA Cup or Community Shield).
What trophy do they expect their club to win with the spending power of Man City???
Arsenal haven't been in the Champions League for 6 years & their fans should be grateful they are playing in it & even challenging City & Liverpool plus Klopp has had far longer to build his squad & inherited better players than Arteta.
City pay wages 2x as high as any other team, the fact Arteta was able to get Rice to not join City should be applauded. 3½ years ago Arsenal had a team with the likes of Holding, Bellerin, Ramsey, Guendouzi, Torreira, Sokratis, Leno, Kolasanic, Aubameyang & Ozil past their best sucking the club dry. So many fickle Gunners fans with no memory.
Is he actually serious? Arteta has transformed Arsenal. He doesn't get the same credit as Guardiola or Klopp, which could be because Arsenal haven't won any trophy yet (they haven't, right?).
I think one of the problems is that the players are still quite young and seem to fall under pressure.
I don't think it's a coincidence that they lost the other day on the same day that Liverpool also lost. They had a chance to move up the table and blew it. The same happened last year. Arteta needs to make them tougher mentally.
I thought they would beat Bayern over the 2 legs, but they were poor tonight and in the first game, to me they looked a bit overwhelmed?
He’s got a point like.
HAALAND AND DEBRUYNE ASKED GUARDIOLA TO TAKE THEM OFF
That person is not an Arsenal fan.
Criticise his subs, tactics and plan. But he has built this team to compete at the highest level.
It's the story of Assna😂
Playing it safe instead of going for it with Partey. Arteta, please leave🙏
Josh is a madman😂
Arsenal fans always complaining... we can't always win and there has been significant progress. Arteta has only had his preferred team for 2 seasons. We haven't played CL QF in 15 years and most of the team were experiencing this stage of competition for the first time. Let's be realistic and fair!
Some Arsenal fans never learn. They have such short memory...Its the same set of fans that kept Wenger in this club 10 years too long and they want to do the same with this manager who's not as good.
Arteta out, Tuchel in!
Sounds good to me since I'm a Liverpool fan
