Internationally acclaimed Norwegian-born singer, Sissel, performs "Like an Angel Passing through My Room" by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and arranged by Kjetil Bjerkestrand. This performance came during the 2019 Pioneer Day Concert with The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

Audiences still have not forgotten Sissel’s stunning performances at the Choir and Orchestra’s 2006 Christmas concerts and still regard her as one of the favorite guests of the Choir. The concert was shown in 2007 on PBS stations to 4 million viewers around the country. The Christmas CD, Spirit of the Season, was #1 on Billboard’s Classical chart for nine weeks and was nominated for two Grammy® awards.

Never in my 87 years has a song touched me like this. I have listened to it hundreds of times knowing I will shed tears each time. The lady, her voice and the song are a gift from heaven.

I've been listening to the choir since the late 1950's! The choir and (for years now) the orchestra have been a source of soothing comfort and uplifting inspiration for all these years! Now we are blessed with the absolutely beautiful voice of Ms Sissel, my cup runneth over! During these uncertain times, I ask the Lord's Blessings and His Protection on All of us and our families! This is the first time I ever heard of Sissel, when she appeared with the Choir. I have been listening to her almost every day since. This is still my favorite song she sings. Of course ABBA has been my favorite group since the 70's, when my oldest daughter started listening to them. This is the only song ABBA produced as a solo and Sissle brings out all the feelings there. Such a beautiful voice.
I've been fortunate to "stumble" upon her over 30 years ago the circumstances of which I can't even remember. the first time I heard her I remember it wasn't even in English it was her voice that captivated me (even though I could not understand a word). She is truly a gift to the world.
