Fun Car..November 2020 I Just purchased a JCW GP 3 in Sydney Australia.....Really QUICK and Heaps of Fun..not even pushed to its limits Yet..As for the design it grows on you and its really quirky but somewhat different which makes it cool.... SO to all the haters it’s simple don’t CONSUME your time on ramping up negative commentary because you couldn’t buy one even if you wanted to. In Australia they are already selling 6k above the original Purchase Price. As long as there are 3000 happy Customers around the world...Mini has Fulfilled the brief. Though they could have had a reverse camera for the Aussie Customers I’m sure that wouldn’t weigh the car down too much.

Have a s2 Exige S and mines does this but it's mainly because of the lack of power steering
Wtf is going on with you guys. Everyone is talking about how bumpy it is. This thing is build to be fast on corners and not to be Comfortable. It still doesnt have backseats...
Some other cars are actually fast and less bumpy as we compared new production cars.

Well, jcw pro exhaust is really good
I have a GP3 and disabled the fake sound. Fake sound is only enabled during slow cruising. Once you hit full power like here there is no fake sound anymore. Just exhaust.

First you feel the turbulence and after a while, it just lifts off.
I feel like people are forgetting that this car is a hot hatch and not a luxury car so it's not going to be an comfortable as a luxury car so people need to stop going "oh that doesn't look comfortable" it's made to be on track not for going full pelt on the motorway

Fast car but looking very unstable at high speed.
What I can tell from this and some Mini Cooper S videos is that these cars weren't designed to nail speeds over 200 km/h. Yes they can definitely go over that, but the cabin shakes like a bartender shaking a martini. Aerodynamics of these cars are limiting. Just my take.
My JCW GP3 felt just fine at 140mph in the rain...

@@met12341 ayo my dad has a 118d as well, and that is a defect on this engine, it wears the timing chain like crazy, bmw actually paid for the first replacement Cuz it's a known issue from all n47, about oil we never had issues, just normal maintenance and runs fine, we on our second or third time chain I think, just did 300.000 km recently, amazingly reliable if u ask me, also we got a bigger turbo Cuz the old one had a screw loosen up and breaking its spin fins, not sure it's pressure but coupled that with an ecu remap and FAP delete its bumping 200 hp and 450nm, smokes a bit when u push hard on the gas pedal but nothing crazy. It's an amazing car.
@@LS-bm9hg From my experience, latest beamers and Mercedes are very reliable, older beamers had alot of issues yep but i haven't heard nothing crazy on the latest ones, but it's important to know that each car / engine is its own, reliable brands also have issues. My point was that the old Chrysler pegout engines in the minis were absolute crap in terms of reliability, we also had an r53 mini cooper s 2005, 1.6cc 170 hp, fuel economy was non existant and drank oil too, but it was a fun car specially wih that supercharger power on the lower Rev range.

Looks like it has eggs for wheels , hate the suspension in the gp3 they are so hard on the road its just unusable in real world , MINI have completely lost their way much like bmw funnily enough .
