Personally I think the reason soda tastes better in a glass bottle is because a plastic bottle adds a slightly chemical taste because of how they are made while glass bottles don't have that same issue.

@@ayss2611 we can buy coke in glass bottles where I live but they’re really expensive. A six pack of glass coke costs almost 10 dollars where as a six pack of coke in plastic bottles costs maybe 4-5 dollars

For the glass bottle thing with the Coke: Most Coke that comes in a bottle uses real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, that's why it tastes different, primarily.

I don't think the bottle is the psychological issue on the coke. Most 3rd world countries make coke with cane sugar, giving the original flavor and taste compared to corn syrup. Mexicoke, Mexican coke here in the states taste different and they haven't done the change like in the u.s. thanks for the video Aki Sempai.
Yup, the high-fructose corn syrup lobby in Washington has been quite successful in wielding its power and getting subsidies that make it a more financially attractive alternative to cane sugar.

I love places like this. So much fun. Here in the US I've been to a bunch of Living History museums, including Williamsburg. Different time n place but same vibe. This looks like a great date.
Ah yeah my state has many including one that’s a recreation of a pioneer like school. The gift shop was my favorite as they sell American Girl stuff. I may or may not have talked my dad into buying me a couple while there for a Girl Scout trip.

'why does it taste better in a glass bottle' Two guesses. The plastic inside a metal can effects the flavor, and/or the slight metallic taste left behind by the bottle cap enhances the flavor.

11:15 There might be a funny reason for that. I know that in America corn syrup is used to sweeten most coke, but in Mexico, glass bottled coke uses suger instead. So you might have drank a Mexican coke!
