Paper Bag Machine Repair part 2

This week, Volunteer Richard Friedman and company work to align the paper feed on the Paper Bag Machine. We have learned that the name of the game is “alignment” in regards to this machine. Everything from the paper reel to the rollers must be perfectly lined up for the paper to be fed through the blade without snagging or jamming. We employ a makeshift counterweight to balance the “drag shoe” on the paper reel, and discover the second glue applicator. Just a few more kinks to work out, and we’ll be swimming in paper bags.
