    I'm a Nigerian and I don't support how Dangote is employing non-Africans. Most of the engineers are Chinese, Indians and Europeans. Doesn't Africa has his own engineers? This is not good for African's economies for all. Why won't Africans travel by sea to Europe? When the businessmen and leaders are just thinking in a low level.

      When black South Africans were complaining about foreigners collecting their jobs, the question is "Are they qualified for the job?"
      Please don't mix a degree in mech eng with standard qualification with experience. Dangote usually start with them, but later after transfer of knowledge, they are usually cut down. Business is not run on sentiments Brother but with a need to make profit.

    • @saraman1231
      @saraman1231 Před 6 lety +2

      Nobody is worshiping him. People are just rightfully acknowledging his brilliant success and expressing how proud they are that this great man is an African. When you read Western media the narrative about Africa focuses on negative stuff. It's our responsibility to change that narrative. So when one of us achieve great success through hard work and dedication it is normal that we acknowledge it and and congratulate him. Nothing to do with worshiping him. All people are saying here is that the guy (Dangote) is a success that needs to be emulated. Even in Islam there is nothing wrong with doing so.

      That is why Nigeria has a government. Did Dangote ever ask anything from you, even a vote? In business, nothing is personal, just make profit.

    • @saraman1231
      @saraman1231 Před 6 lety +11

      I think you've got the wrong understanding of business. This is a private corporation, not a charity organization or a government agency. Strictly speaking, Dangote has no obligation whatsoever toward your so-called 70%. Despite that, he has set up a foundation that is already doing a lot in poverty alleviation through poor women empowerment, in Education through the Dangote Academy which provides practical training to Engineers and affiliate technical staff. This year, a world class Business School that he built was handed over the Ahmadu Bello University. Just this week his foundation handed over to the victims of Boko Haram a whole brand new small town that he built. I could go on and on. Besides, through his numerous industrial enterprises he is providing tens of thousands Nigerian and African youth with employment. As you can see he is doing more than his share. The guy Dangote is areal deal!

    • @k7lianmbappe519
      @k7lianmbappe519 Před 6 lety +1

      am not saying his a bad deal am saying he should've done more in nigeria in empowering cos clearly the government its not helping a nation with 180 million population and its milionaires list is below small countries like kenya, tanzania, angola, south africa...etc with over 20,000 millionaires, i think the government just by opening a new company it will employ alot of civilians and will generate alot of revenues that any other african countries cos of the population. am from sudan and i've been in lagos for a week, between there 110,000 hausa speaking people living in sudan, they were there after the anglo-egyptian colony of sudan, the only different with them and the hausa in nigeria is here they speak arabic not english and thats why alot of nigeria's muslim students are brought here to sudan to be teach under the sharea law. thats also part of how the government in nigeria are blindsiding the christians there and soon mark my words nigeria will be a shareya law country or will divide. am a sudanese but a christian i grew up under that law and i know the evil things this arabs are planning against african countries its simple first make your country people feel as if no one is different while conquring through marriage while you will not marry from them until its time then thats it. thats part of the reason south sudan took its independence from sudan in 2011 once the biggest country in africa now divided into two but we are happy cos now 99% of south sudan are christians and its a blessed oil land

    • @saraman1231
      @saraman1231 Před 6 lety +6

      Sorry but I really don't get your point here. What has all you're saying got to do with this cement factory opening ? All these religious stuff? All these anti-Muslim rant ? Obviously your first comment about Dangote had nothing to do with what he's doing. It seemed motivated just by the fact that he's a Muslim, a Hausa man, something you can't seem to take. This video has nothing to do with all you just said. The video is about Dangote's business enterprises. Period. Nothing to do with your grudge against Muslims and Hausas. By the way, Dangote is known to be a humble man, a pretty detribalized person employing people irrespective of their tribes or religions. Furthermore, anyone a little bit familiar with Nigeria, will notice that the delegation accompanying Mr. Dangote is outstandingly made of non Muslims and non Hausa.
      Now I can't believe you are saying that in South Sudan you are now happy. That's really heartbreaking as it is an insult to the suffering of the tens of thousands people, women and children who are in dire strait there and in refugee camps in neighboring countries as a result of the civil war ravaging their country. Ever since the country was created it has hardly known real peace as power-hungry and tribe- obsessed leaders Salva Kiir and Riek Machar were quick to drive it into a totally devastating war. Even the most recent peace talks are about to collapse. So, please do not tell me that because the country is 99% Christian and there is abundant oil, happiness is there. That's self-deception. And I don't think any South Sudanese in their right mind would agree with you, as their suffering is laying bare for anyone to witness it. I don't even know why I am writing this. Seriously, this video has definitely nothing to do with whatever you dragged me into here.
