The Top Speed on the Cagiva Mito and the Aprillia RS125 depends on the Version(The Fastest Versions can go up to 190 kmh).

The ones with the rotax 123 engine in it (newer ones are rotax 122).
that's true. my mito 7 speed evo drove with a larger gear ratio of 210km / h and with the factory gear around 190km / h

Back in 1989 I had a new Honda NS125F, and fitted with a Micron expansion exhaust...could get to 90ish mph (on the clock) My mate had an ‘86 RD125 which was always that bit quicker.... damn him! Good fun.. just cover that clutch lever at all times.. 😆

NSR 125 1993-2000- Top speed: 160/170 km/h, 2000-2003- Top speed: 130 km/h

My Kawasaki Kmx 125r Downhill reached 162km / h (With Digital Speedometer Tuned by a Speedometer of a Honda Hornet 600), changed to SuperMotard and with Super Long Transmission (Front Sprocket of 17 and Custom Rear Sprocket of 44), Only with a BigOne Exaust and a Small Change in the Filter Cover!
La TZR que j'avais avec réglage valve donnait 32 ch et 175 km/h au compteur (6 vitesses et de 30 en 30 km/h) la valve et le bruit moteur s'enclenche à 7500 tr/min. et le boost
entre 10000 et 12000 tr/min un peu comme la Derby sur la vidéo !

My Mito Cagiva 125cc used to go up to 190km/h( i don't know the actual speed)...the model from 1992 with two rounds light on the front and 34 bhp...Just to say that the Kawasaki 400cc new model as only 7 Bhp more and the Cbr 500r 16bhp more...But they go just a little bit faster than a good old 125cc and obviously they weight more...

If I'm not mistaken aprillia also made a 50hp race kit for it. Surely that would claim the top spot. The fastest 125 I had was a 1989 ns125r and that may not of gone very fast about 90 but that got to 60 ridiculously quick for a 125. It would of given my 600 a run for its money to 60

2:30 bad acceleration, I had Honda NSR 125R back in day and it can take the 11-12 ez without breaking the engine in accelerations. Itd do around 170kmh with right pilot

The older aprilia from the late 1980's and early 90's where a bit quicker than the newer version's of the later 90's and 2000 versions due to the emissions law which change everything and all the fun , however I still think the aprila. is still better bike , but that's my opinion .

Mito and RS have same engine Rotax 125 so..
The Mito has a Cagiva engine, not the Rotax engine. They are totally different. Some of the Mitos even have a 7 speed gear box. The one Rossi raced when he was a kid had the 7 speed.
