Colossos (2004 Off-Ride Footage) - Heide Park Germany

Colossus (now called Colossos - Kampf der Giganten) is an Intamin wooden coaster with a prefabricated track, which has operated at Heide Park in Germany since 2001. We visited the park with the European Coaster Club in July 2004 and had some exclusive ride time on this wild airtime machine. Video features various off-ride shots filmed on the access road adjacent to the coaster's layout. Please forgive the ride name typo on the front header of this video!

You have ridden some of the best wooden coasters on the planet David. This one would definitely be on my bucket list. As far as the speed goes. The second hill reminds me of El Toro. Sounds like you were out of your seat for a lot of the ride. The footage is wild. Fantastically shot D~

It's a pretty insane coaster - the Intamin prefabricated track coasters are all pretty much ejector seat airtime and this is no exception. Wild is about right!

If only Kings Island had gotten Intamin to build Son of Beast like this, it probably would still be around.
