I love how in this scene 2:52 They took out the frisbee in one scene and brought it back. They had to retake the scene without the frisbee to make this scene work. Its really like those old VHS movies with their oldschool horrible editing lmao
This channels MacGyver, Airwolf, Renegade and every other 80's action show perfectly. The script, cinematography and even the actors and characters names are perfect, right down to the blonde extras giving a little scream as they scurry off to the producers trailers for further "auditions".

Well to be fair I did try it on my friend when I was 6 years old due to watching movies like this, and he did die. But instead of immediately falling dead on the ground it was 10 mins of screaming followed by unconsciousness for a week followed by years of being a vegetable in a wheelchair til eventual death from complications years later

@@remraft I know Fallout and Skyrim are basically the same game, but only in Fallout do I run and gun. In fact, I find stealth kills much harder in Fallout anyway. Skyrim is just arrow, dead, arrow, dead, until you're done.

Atmosphere? Hate to break it to you but that's the worst part of the clip. There's absolutely nothing correct about the atmosphere for the location where they're supposed to be at. Bogotá is completely surrounded by the Andes Mountains, there are no palm trees or cacti and you wouldn't be caught dead sitting by a pool in a bikini because you would probably die of pneumonia. And why does the bad guy speak with a bad Jamaican accent?

For the kids in the room, this was exactly every action movie/tv show made between 1980 and like 1995.
Watching just this, instead of all the 80s and 90s low budget action films, saves you a lot of time.
The low film quality, the dark synthy music, the unnecessary, repeated gun cocking, hell...even the CAMERA work. It all PERFECTLY nails those hammy late 80's / early 90's action TV shows and the bottom-of-the-rack-at-the-video-store schlock. So good!
The guns aren't even being cocked... they just make that noise whenever their direction is slightly adjusted. But that is normal for Hollywood.

I've honestly never seen anybody else that's so diverse in so many situations than Key and Peele. The knowledge they have in culture, movies, etc is beyond impressive.
It's a shame Peele is so awful at making movies.
It's likely they have a very good writing staff to back them up.
And a great makeup staff.
But I think they're really good actors too because they play Such diverse characters convincingly.

@KoivuTheHab they have a writing team, but like most comedy greats going all the way back to Johnny Carson and Jack Benny, they are also part of the writing team. They are both responsible for the writing, help to polish ideas pitched by other writers, and pitch ideas to the writing team which are then fully developed.
You can tell they study every character.
