Nice video thx. For this Volumio monthly rate I would expect to also get the hardware as part of the subscription. Overpriced for just the software.

This price increase is pretty obnoxious in my opinion. I don't want or need most of the new features and feel I am being forced to pay extra for things I'll never use. When my current subscription runs out I may have to reconsider how I stream music.
The price is too high as the only added value for me would be tidal connect. I will survive. If you have a free alternative for Tidal connect please reply.

I have installed volumio 3 but i had to go back to volumio 2 the reason. I was not able to connect to my network drive. I did try many different way but i did not have any luck. Volumio 2 works great with my network drive.
The mouse arrow is not gettinging after updates culd you please help me

@@juliangst... thank you for marketing talks from Volumio's web... but i am asking for a real experiences - there is a different core, so we can expect at least slightly different sound (or am i totally wrong?)...this question is based on my (but far away not only) experiences with a different "music players" and different sound in their different versions/editions/whatever...
@@feflofeflic there are no differences if the bitstream is bit perfect. Those people who claim there is a difference probably also think usb cables make a difference

I think it sounds a bit better than v2 but that can be my imagination. And yet the developer says the same and mentions he has no explanation for this

My experience with it, yes it works on Windows, when it feels like it. Terrible software, at least in my application. It is even worse than PlayFi... And they charge you a monthly fee to use the unlocked version. Criminal in my book.
With "Volumio-3.301-2022-06-09-pi" Spotify plugin fails. "Volumio-3.251-2022-03-31-pi" also fails. Garbage. Over the years, I have played around with Volumio but ultimately, it breaks and I end up giving up.
do i have to pay for apple music (airplay) and spotify connect ?

Installation ist nun zwar einfach aber eine verbindung mit dem handy nicht möglich und somit nicht zu gebrauchen… wieder deinstalliert genauso wie hifiberry os!
It’s overpriced for what it is.
They could not pay me $50 a month to use this software, it is that bad. I have no clue how they survive, this is worse than PlayFi.
