Hello Chip From Mark In Kentucky. I remember when the “Gator/Predator” blades were pretty new on the market in which it was claimed by a trade article that I was looking over back in that time period not long after those blades were introduced which made the claim that those blades worked best in a multiple blade mower deck application rather than having maybe two blades or even just one blade like a Toro Recycler or Super Recycler which really delivers a very nice cut quality.
The other claim was that the Gator/Predator blades also were at their best when used with a mower deck with a very high blade tip speed for the serrated upper area of the blades to be most effective in further chopping up the grass clippings or whatever before it gets discharged from the mower deck.
I do not like the Gator/Predator type of blades for early spring mowing when the grass tends to be pretty wet in which the serrated area of the blade tends to get clogged up with the clippings which I think kind of defeats the purpose of the blades.
One time I had some blackberry vines that I mowed with some of the G3 Gator blades in which the Gator blades totally pulverized the Blackberry vines to very small pieces. Thanks for your great video.

Got the recycler kit for my new 75746. Works great. The blades it came with seemed to have a pretty high lift I recall. Had to sharpen them before I put them on cause they had a thick shiny coat of paint on um. Great video, I learned a lot.

You forgot the most important blade - AL BLADEZ! I tried sharpening my mower blade with an angle grinder (probably not the best method) and noticed the edge was very weak even though it was at a 30 degree angle or so. I could break it apart with my fingers. Do you recommend any brands that have high quality metal that will hold up to sharpening?

My mower leaves rows of cut grass behind to the where if not raked it will suffocate the grass. It's a Yard Force push mower with stock blade. Any suggestions?

I’m not familiar with blade options for that brand. I would say either bag or recycle and mow more often so your blades of grass are smaller

Open the chute if you have one. I have a john deere lt155 . I use a stick to prop up the chute and it blows the grass out instead of directing it to a row.

This may sound like a silly question, but what if I put the gator mulching blade on my regular, riding lawnmower without a mulching kit?
Would it still pulverize the grass, but instead spit out smaller pieces of grass blades?
    (I have St Augustine)
    Someone please 🙏 help.

@@louisberndt5489 OK just to make sure I’m seeing correctly.
You’re saying the gator mulching blades on my regular Wall Moral will still Pulver ties the grass for the most part, even without the mulching kit that goes on the end of the deck, where discharges ?
Because if so, I’m getting it.
