Thanks very much! This and other excellent recordings Krystian Zimerman unfortunately withdrew! *so sad* I also still have this vynil recording by Deutsche Gramophon Gesellschaft (DGG)! I fully agree with you! :D
Wonderful interpretation of the master Zimerman. It's a shame that he has ordered take off the DG record from the market with Chopin's waltzes, that record is a jewel
Gorgeous interpretation with rich the harmony exposed. Some professional performances concentrate on the top line and delicacy, which is another beautiful way to play the piece, just different. The great thing about this performance though for players is that it is of a style that can be aspired to be amateur players of a good intermediate ability - albeit perhaps without the expectation of achieving Zimerman's technique and touch.
Perhaps Zimmerman born to play Chopin. He is has not only genius technical but also a good understanding of Chopin whereas nowadays some pianist abuses technical skills to demonstrates Chopin's music and they lost the depth and the emphasis.
@@crescenzoverdenavidacrociera I don’t think their both being Polish fully explains it. Zimerman isn’t the only Polish pianist to perform Chopin, and I’ve heard non-Polish pianists perform Chopin better than Polish pianists. So the Polish connection, while it undoubtedly helps, is neither necessary nor sufficient. Whatever it is, Zimerman’s performances of Chopin stand head and shoulders above everyone else imo. He seems to connect with Chopin’s music in a way no other musician does.
That's the best interpretation for me. It's a shame that the recording is a bit out of tune. Anyways it still can't effect the beautifulness of this interpretation.
Without music the world seems empty to me.

Une merveille d'interprétation
This is the way to play it...
PIĘKNO MUZYKI FRYDERYKA CHOPINA TO FENOMEN GRANICZĄCY Z CUDEM.
I still have this versión in vynil under the Deutsche Gramophon label...Superb !!!

I didn't know he had recorded these! What other recordings did he withdraw?
where can we find those and the rest of these withdrawn recordings? It would be a real shame if they got lost forever
My favorite piano waltz ever
this and rubinstein's interpretation is just pure gold
Also Pletnev's interpretation of 2020
i realize I am pretty randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to watch new tv shows online?
What's so special about this interpretation that you would compare it with the mastery of Rubinstein's? This sounds pretty pedestrian to me
@@myAutoGen :/
La plus belle interprétation que j'ai jamais entendue avec celle de Rubinstein
Je suis complètement d'accord!
Lipatti.
He seems to be the only one who knows how to play it right
Evgeny Kissin although knows.
I still prefer Rubinstein
Wait, if you know he plays it right, doesn't that technically mean you also know the right way to play it.

There could be lots of similarities in their mindsets, Chopin and Zimerman being compatriots. What do you think?
Totally I agree. Couldnt be explained better.
